CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi - Shoreline - Emergency Room - Corpus Christi Scott Walters: Was treated in the ER on December 29, 2024, after being nailed in the foot by a large stingray - excruciatingly painful! The intake was quick and professional, an EMT checked me out as I was getting in-processed, and they called me back to a room almost immediately. Marlene was my nurse; she was a real sweetheart -- professional but compassionate, too. X-ray tech was sharp; he brought the machine to me, which was great. Dewayne was also great, another great guy and former Navy (Im retired Army). I didnt catch the name of the guy who did all the consent paperwork, but he was also retired Navy and a fantastic guy! The provider who saw me was also very sharp. Hope to never step on a stingray again in Corpus, but if I do, Im going back to the same spot! I could add some photos of the puncture wounds, but it may gross folks out, so Ill hold off on that. Scott Walters
Methodist Hospital Atascosa - Jourdanton Davis Anna: I came for an ultrasound appointment this morning for my gallbladder and Amy was the one who took care of me. She was phenomenal- so kind and gentle and great at giving directions to turn or how to breathe for the necessary images. Honestly, everyone was so helpful and kind and the whole appointment was well under 45 minutes— including registration and wait time. I had a great experience and am very appreciative!
Mid Coast Medical Center - Bellville - Bellville Cathy Jameson: I went to the ER room twice I possibly got a doctor the first time but should have never had another CT scan the second time I was greeted with a man named Billy and he said he was the doctor he was not he was a nurse practitioner and I almost never got an iv in me. The only clean looking person there whats the one that does CT scans and there was no reason for another one within 5 or 6 days I finally left there and I told me youre leaving AMA thank God I did as they never diagnosed me properly. In the state of Texas the ER should always have a real doctor r1 within 30 minutes away. Thank God I left as I had been there twice to no avail. One of the nurses not even in Scrubs had greasy hair and tell me how nurse practitioners know a whole lot well if he knew a whole lot he would have known not to do another CT scan they were extremely busy and a friend of mine called and said they killed her mother there I would never go there again to see a nurse practitioner. It is sad at this hospital got the owners do not do anything about the ER care. I drove to Houston and I was in the hospital for 6 days however I was diagnosed properly and they didnt even do another CT scan as they got the results of one I had 2 weeks ago at memorial Hermann in Cypress Texas
At one time they had decent doctors in the ER room now they dont even have a real MD and thats against the law for an ER room. It was so hot there I developed a rash under my breast I kept telling him how hot I was, thank God I left.
Muleshoe Area Hospital - Muleshoe Richard Montoya: I brought my son in for a borderline dka, he has type 1 diabetes. The staff and Doctor G treated us with the best care and the most welcoming facility Ive ever been in, we will always remember Muleshoe as one of the most genuine places Ive ever been to.
Thank you guys so much.
