Spend a few hours enjoying history with the owners of Main street shops and restaurants. Purchased a handbag, earrings, summer shawl and a wonderful recipe book for newlyweds at Lyla’s and enjoyed coffee and pastries from the local bakery.

5 /5 Charlotte Boy: This is an awesome place for dates or to hang out with friends. Easily accessible by train and lots of locally owned businesses to support. Or if you are looking for a free date, the park is beautiful. There are also events and community theater performances on occasion, so check the downtown plano website for the calendar.

Bishwas Sharma: This park is not too big. Has ample parking spaces, a fun playground for kids, covered area for doing events. The trail around the lake is not too long so good for a quick stroll. There are ducks and other birds around to watch. Also has drinking water fountain and restroom. Even though it was sunny and hot, cool breeze was pleasant!

Heritage Farmstead Museum - Plano

D Know: They have great holiday events that the family loves. And they do NOT price gouge like other places. All the prices there are very fair and reasonable, kudos to the management and owner for this. Truly shows they care about everyone enjoying the event, drinks, snacks and toys sold there. And when it’s not a holiday, they have animals walking around you can visit and take pic with. A great place to visit.

Reba King: Covered picnic area and well maintained playground make this a favorite area for children and their parents, but the absence of convenient restrooms is a strong negative for our family.
