Manda M: Amy completely destroyed my hair by overprocessing it and I am devastated. I spoke extensively with Joe and Amy about how I wanted to slowly lighten my hair for a special event several months out, and that hair integrity was my number one priority over color. Amy said she understood and that she had the capacity to do this. She did not. I asked her to do a stand test and she said that was not usual policy and unnecessary. My hair was fried beyond repair in one appointment. Amy was sneaky and turned me away from the mirror to style my hair after she bleached it and used heat and hairspray to hide the damage. My hair was breaking off and she didnt want me to see. That evening and into the next day my hair was clearly dry and frazzled and I could see it falling out. Amy told me that once the hairspray she used was washed out it should feel better. I came back to see Amy to discuss the damage as I had lost several inches of hair at the front and she said that she would have to trim the front sections and trim the back otherwise they would continue to break up the hair shaft. She had over saturated my hair which is clear from the bright color spots (see photos). She gave me the worst haircut Ive ever seen in my life and told me not to tie my hair up or to use any heat on it for at least 3 months. She admitted that my hair was stretching and gummy when it was wet after the bleaching and she hid this from me. Amy didnt show any remorse or apologize. She refunded me and told me that it was policy to not see the client again after refunding them (this is clearly a common occurrence). Amy had no intention of providing any after care to try to help me - As youll see from other reviews, Amys catch all phrase when she destroys peoples hair is "you need to practice better home care". This was NOT the case for me as the damage was already evident minutes after leaving the salon. Amys inexperience and ignorance has literally cost me my hair and its still in bad condition months later. Her complete lack of personal and professional integrity is the worst part about all this. Amy is a terrible human being who knows what she did and she didnt have the decency to help to fix the situation, she just wanted to run from it. I know this, Amy knows this and God knows this. Amy has bad energy and juju. Avoid this salon at all costs.
