4 /5 Brian Heironimus: this is a great big Park area for dogs with a nice concrete cops with peoples with a nice table with cover. if you dog obstacles as well. the biggest problem is the fence needs fixed the gate latches are messed up.

There are few grills around for cookouts. Restrooms are clean. Great for your pets, plenty of space for them to play around. Parking is limited.

The jungle gym is covered so no rain or sunburns to ruin the day. May also hold cookouts...bathrooms on site at pavilion Tip: touch the black cap on the fire hydrant to start the splash pad.

5 /5 Lonnie James: This park is absolutely wonderful. Has a great covered playground to reduce heat from the glaring sun , has a great splash pad to cool off and a huge fenced in dog park. Took my niece today and had a great time . Met alot of really nice parents and dog owners out there as well .

beyondTabu: We had a wonderful time at the Houston Museum of Natural Science! The exhibits were incredibly well laid out, making it easy to navigate and enjoy everything at our own pace. There was so much to see — from ancient fossils and dazzling gems to interactive science displays and life-sized dinosaur skeletons. What really stood out was how engaging it was for both kids and adults. Our children were fascinated from start to finish, and as adults, we found ourselves just as entertained and impressed. It struck the perfect balance between fun and educational. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and we’re already looking forward to going back. Highly recommend for families or anyone curious about the wonders of science and nature!

Not all of the staff were friendly, and overall it felt like the experience lacked energy and excitement. The entire walkthrough took about 15 minutes, which felt pretty short. I wish there were more interactive areas or activities to make it more engaging. It’s fine to visit once, but I wouldn’t rush back.

Heather S.: I followed previous reviewers advice and parked at Whole Foods and walked. It was good advise, as theres no other parking as close, as far as I could tell. Theres a sidewalk, but it isnt smooth, so if youre using a wheelchair youll have trouble. It was really cool to see the bats, and I think the best view was from the bridge itself because you can see them in the distance as well as exiting from under the bridge.

Armand Bayou Nature Center - Pasadena

Amy Rose: A hidden gem of the Clear Lake area! Well maintained for decades, this is a wonderful place to visit if you enjoy trail walking. But walking in the forest isnt all it has to offer- theres different buildings that host various animals, some featuring educational or recreational events at times, and throughout the preserve are wooden observation areas where you can view swamps (and possibly spot an alligator in the water!), bison in beautiful prairies, and you might even find a cute Armadillo on the trails! Its very safe here, but if you have children please be attentive as there can be snakes on the trails (I personally run into Armadillos more than them, fortunately!)

Jason Morgan: Very nice place to chill on the grass and have a beautiful view of the Skyline of Houston. However, be aware of the sprinklers that go off in sections around 9-10 pm YOU WILL GET WET IF YOUR NOT PREPARED FOR IT. But we just laid in the sprinklers. They did have some scooter rentals that showed up in box trucks and you can rent to ride around. That was pretty cool also. I do plan on going back as I found it to be peaceful and relaxing.
