1 /5 M B: Very incompetent! Their only ECG machine wasnt working when I thought my husband was having a heart attack. And they gave my 15 mth old granddaughter a steroid shot for her flu symptoms! Shes very sick now!!

5 /5 Megan Kennison: I had to go to this ER today for a migraine headache. Although they were completely full when I arrived, I waited no more than three minutes in the lobby. I am deathly afraid of needles and they worked with me. I can’t even tell where they poked me with the IV. They were completely patient with my anxiety. They walked me through step by step and never got frustrated with me. They even had me laughing when they took the IV tape off my arm. Migraine headaches are a process and take time to get completely rid of, and I understand that. I will go here again in the future if I ever need anything that is emergent. 5 stars is not enough. Shout out to the two nurses and Dr. who worked from 10Am to 2:30pm on 12/29/24! Y’all are amazing!!! UPDATE: I had the IV yesterday morning. Y’all want to see FLAWLESS-after results of having an IV at Concho Valley ER? Picture is attached. They didn’t blow out the vein, you can barely even tell I had an IV at all.

5 /5 Karen Hollander: Had to take the hubs in last night for a knee injury. And I’ll tell ya- Dr Speck is a God send!! He was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and had a great sense humor. He made the whole visit a great and easy experience. Dr Speck drained the fluid in my hubby’s knee and then administered a steroid shot, giving him instant relief. We’ve been fighting with Shannon for several days, and concho valley er was the solution. Thank you Dr. Speck and team!

We have had two unfortunate accidents within the past year that have left us needing to visit an ER with our 2 year old. Both times, we were in and out in less than an hour (X-rays, stitches, and other testing included) with exceptional care given to our toddler. So friendly, so professional, so thorough. Time is invaluable when you have a little one in pain and that’s the main reason Concho Valley ER will always be our first choice.

Bobby B: I have been here 3 times. 2 times for my fiancé and 1 time for myself. Tonight was the first time for myself as I had severe swelling in my left leg. I’m only in my late 20s but have history of vein deficiency and other leg issues such as Mays-Turner Syndrome. Anyway, just went up here to get an ultrasound done and have been here for 3 hours and 50 mins and haven’t even seen the ultrasound person yet. I have been to ERs dozens of times for various reasons and have been to probably 10 different ones, depending on where an incident happened to a certain family member or friend, and this place is BY FAR THE SLOWEST MEDICAL FACILITY IN THE NORTHER HEMISPHERE. If you expect to be out of here within 2 hours, hahahahaha good luck. All 3 times (and all were minor things) we have never been here less than 3 and a half hours. The staff is nice, don’t get me wrong. They are friendly and courteous but something is wrong with the placement/structure/order/procedure of ordering tests and/or visiting with patients in rooms. Friendly staff which is good because at least you have hours to reflect on the good conversations you had with the medical workers who came to see you once every 2 hours lol.

Sage Pini: First off, he is NOT a gastroenterologist, he is a surgeon. He did a scope on me and told my wife I had ulcers, but told me in the follow-up two weeks later that I didnt. Hes not great. If you have stomach problems I would suggest going to Denton or Ardmore and seeing a real gastrointestinal Dr. Update on this review. I got the report from the endoscopy dr khaira performed. It says, ulcers, chronic gastritis, GERD, and esophagitis(sic), and other issues. So this dr couldnt even match the report to the patient he was speaking to. This has cost me an incredible amount of money and time in extra emergency room visits due to extreme pain from untreated conditions, and now I need another scope from a real dr, because the pain in my stomach is not subsiding due to his incompetence and lack of treatment for recognized, photographed, and recorded gastrointestinal conditions. Im editing this review from the er of Gainesville hospital, where I just had another CT scan because of pain in my stomach. If dr khaira wasnt incompetent, these conditions would be treated and managed by now. Unfortunately Im too poor to sue him.

andrew mclean: Since Mcleroy has retired it has gone downhill. No doctors to see you,only nurses. They dont listen, dont seem to care and it has turned into factory line medicine, push the pills from the pharmaceuticals. I asked specific questions about a medication, everything the nurses told me was the exact opposite on the medication paperwork as well as on the bottle itself with detailed literature about not mixing with other pills, she told me I could mix them and would be fine. The app they force you to use for appts. doesnt work, Ive asked several times and no one in the office can help or has an answer. The app is suppose to show your blood work and all your health stats from bp to tests and so on, the app shows no notes or tests at all, no information at all, when i asked about this i was told to ask the front desk, i asked them for the info, i was handed one printed paper with one set of bloodwork. The most frustrating part of the visit,waiting 23 mins listening to the nurse and someone visit while I wait, was there early and in the exam room right at the time of my appt. 23 mins later a nurse comes in, 5 mins later appt over.
