5 /5 Christopher Musanté: I dont know who this pastor was that was at this location... but I am in the middle of a work to expose some interpretation issues between the Hebrew and English... and the story gets interesting - because I admittedly cannot read very well, and thus have to listen to teachings... but I always seemed to like books and have quite the collection sitting on many many many shelves in my office.
I was searching to find out how to do a citation and was looking for an example... correct, the man who cannot read is trying to write a book to leave behind after Im gone, because what I know has to be known - we are in capital T... trouble !!
But as I looked on my shelves for something that would have an example for me to follow - I found this book by Dr. William P. Grady... called "Final Authority" - which again is odd that I choose this book because it is about translation errors in the text.
As I opened the cover, the first thing that I found was that the book is signed by the author... and to a Dub Hendricks, which led me to this church and this page.
I was hoping to call the church to inquire of the man, and noticed that the zipcode had the sequence 666 in it. This number has haunted me in various ways since I answered my call. Imagine skipping church 2x in a single weekend and then after passing the church the 2nd time, end up in the 2nd of 2 car accidents the very same weekend, the 2nd of which occured as follows:
I was passing the church for the 2nd time and said, "Oh Father... Im tired - Ill go next week." Then a bolt of lightning hit the road in front of me, caused me to black out for a few seconds as my foot smashed the accelerator of my turbo charged SS to the floor and I drove me car underneath a truck that was stopped at the light up ahead!!
The services at the church - where I would typically be the one recording the audio for the service, that would be editied and then loaded to the churches website (I was there do it all and IT guy) and when listening to the audio the following week, heard the bolt of lightning, and the pastor stopping the service and saying that it was the loudest bolt of lightning that he had ever heard. Shortly afterwards, you could hear the sirens from OnStar - that automatically called EMS services. It was at this point the pastor said, "We need to pray for that guy."
The story gets better. When I picked up my car from being repaired, I had to have the bill covered by my insurance company, and the total for the bill was...
6 - thousand
6 - dollars
6 - cents
I was not so quick to ditch church again after that.
But of course - I suspected some troubles when trying to contact the church and found out that their voice mail is disabled. Go figure.
