1 /5 Alex Gutierrez: I went to this church like three times looking for a young adults group and they have some but personally as much as the Bible allows us to drink I do not want to attend their anymore because a lot of their younger adults which are about 30 years old or so like to drink and think its okay to represent Christ that way and I dont personally believe its a great way to represent him as much as the Bible allows us to drink also shows more to not do so and be sober-minded. I know were all human and were Sinners but we must be able to represent Christ a little better I think in our personal lives not just at the church.

Doesnt matter who you are or what youve done, you will always feel welcomed but more importantly feel the love of Jesus radiating from each individual you meet. 5 /5 Justin Ito: Very impressive community of believers gathered here. I felt very welcome and "known" even before I knew anybody here. Their childrens ministry is also outstanding, and is a place for our 2 and 4 year old daughters to receive love and growth, and not just be babysat during the service.

5 /5 DocG Marshall: What an amazing gathering of hearts and lives dedicated to seeing God’s Kingdom come in the San Marcos area. The word is richly presented by Pastors Joel & Lauren Lowry and through the generous ministry gifting of several others in their local church. SOZO means healing and salvation...that’s exactly what we’ve experience in attending and being part of their many ministry offerings.

5 /5 Ito Andy: My family and I have been attending SOZO for a little over 6 months now and it has been such a positive and powerful experience for us. We came in mid-2020s-COVID era and our family had just gone through something pretty traumatic. Integrating into a new community seemed daunting but we knew we needed connection with people especially in our time of pain. At the time everyone of course was wearing masks and there was (and still currently) spaced seating, yet somehow we felt so seen and close to everyone. It honestly felt like "home." Since first attending to now, it still does. The people here are genuine, caring, courageous, and so, so kind. Everyone behind the scenes strives to produce honor, vulnerability and excellence. No one goes unheard or overlooked. It is very much a place where we can come together and be just like family. :)
