1 /5 Ernestine Mariani: I feel as a church you should be good to your neighbors and as their neighbor there is an elementary school my kids attended, and the church is very mean and ugly to the kids and their parents over a parking, but when the school is not being in use of their parking, the church takes over their parking I think it’s very inconsiderate of the church and I can just imagine how they run the church. People that work there during the day speed in and out of the school and one time almost hit me waking to pick up my son.
1 /5 Linda Russ: I’m surprised no one has mentioned in the reviews, how LOUD the music is! You couldn’t hear anyone else singing except the performers on stage. I’m a senior, but I went to plenty of rock concerts when I was younger and am married to a guitar player, so loud music is something I’m used to. But THIS was too loud. I left at the end of P&W, and the door man asked if I was too cold. I said it was too loud, and he said there had been complaints? There’s a room you can go to that’s not as loud. How about turn it DOWN! Also, I had to park several rows from the front, but “cars with children” get to park right in front? This is not a church for Seniors. I won’t be returning.
1 /5 Grata Dom: What kind of church hires off duty police for a Sunday service? Are the parishioners dangerous? Are people coming to the church dangerous? Or are you stealing money and you wanna make sure you get away with it? It was disgusting the experience, to say the least.
5 /5 Desiree Preciado: Update 03/27/2025 My husband and I moved from El Paso, but I still consider this church one of the best. I have been to a discipleship church before, and I just wanted to share some knowledge with Seth about whether hes still in charge of discipleship; there are books on cell vision by Cesar Castellanos. Im not saying connect with him and his cell movement, but a church that actively walked in discipleship had cell groups in their homes, and it felt real/natural rather than forced. I truly hope that helps. My best to this church and its members :) ____First Review____ This is a great church. The pastor leaves you with the conviction to change and grow without making you feel hopeless about yourself. The people who serve are welcoming and caring. Im glad I got to grow here, and I invite friends to grow with me. I just cant wait not to have to wear masks anymore.

  • Abundant Church - El Paso
Rachael Jones: As the world continues to switch between yes and no on what’s right and wrong, Gods truth doesn’t change. Throughout and overtime His truth remains and stands up. Abundant speaks nothing but the word. No frills, gimmicks or sugar coating. Just shear love and a welcoming into His house. If you’re looking for a church home to get planted in that can withstand the enemy definitely come check out Abundant. I’m in awe to be apart of such an amazing family. Don’t let the size of the building deter you. Physically big yes but it’s a spirit filled church we all need!

Hope City Community Church - El Paso
    Hope City Community Church
Kaykay: Went here about a couple months ago and great church, but I was not impressed with the children’s church or staff. I have a non verbal child that I dropped off at the children’s church and was in the room with other kids but when I picked my child up, my child was isolated in the other room with one lady. I looked over to the other room they handed out coloring activities to parents their child did and looked at my child’s, the coloring sheet wasn’t even colored or nothing it was still inside the bag. I didn’t have the heart to ask why my child is in the different room than the others, but my heart for sure was BROKEN. NEVER going back again, a lesson for me to look around and ask for a great children’s ministry that accepts every child no matter what they are. This has scarred me, and has not gone back even to other church after this sad experience.
Word of Life Church - el paso - El Paso
Robert Escandon: This church gives so much to the community. Word of Life Church is one of the first churches in El Paso to give food to the community when Covid-19 hit and the quarantine kept people in their homes. This church also gives to many ministries serving outside the walls of the building including but not limited to the prison ministry. Word of Life Church also has a fantastic Praise & Worship team who ministers outside the walls of the church. The church recently had a Ministers Summit, and offers timely and effective sermons. Word of Life Church offers a safe/fun place for families at the Harvest Fest in lieu of trick or treating.
St. Mark Catholic Church - el paso - El Paso

The Door Christian Center - El Paso
Chris Mercer: My son who is 20 went there last sunday. The following monday 3 of them were knocking on our door. We were eating dinner and did not answer until one of the creeps walked across our front yard and started looking through windows. What kind of cult is this? Stay away from this place
Cross of Grace Church - El Paso
Bachlieb Sprachen: Joe and Ricky are a great father-son pair who really enjoy making friends and influencing others, nothing untoward about any of CoG.

Eduardo Gonzalez: Many years ago there was a Franciscan priest, very truthful and strict!!! By looking at him one would think he was always angry. His homilies were TREMENDOUS!!!!! He told it like it was. In his Humility he gave a sermon about an incident where he traveled by truck to the Tarahumara Sierra to give mass. There was a man who would not attend tge mass but would watch from a distance ( since mass was outdoors ). He said that it bothered him much and had even spoken to tge man and had an argument with him!!! Well when he left tge town after the incident, miles from nowhere he got a flat tire. No spare, no phone all aline. After a while he saw a cloud of dust approaching on the road!!! It was the man he argued with!!! The man stopped and helped him out. That is Humility, to relate how God works in our lives, when we think we are right. Went to confession often with this priest. Always received a well deserved penance!!!! Yes priests are men and sinners! But they accept that and allow Christ to work His goodness through them. Blessings to all.

PJ Ryan, LCSW: Very friendly and spirit-filled. All of the pastors are great. The Childrens ministry can watch the small children while you are in the service. You can visit the Rio Grind coffee bar before or after service for coffee & chai, hot or cold, even muffins and breakfast burritos. But dont miss the signing and message from God. Enter the parking lot from New Harvest Place off of Helen of Troy.
