5 /5 Rachel Vanderlely: Hands down my favorite place in the world to be at. I actually think it’s funny people are giving this church ratings, including myself. I haven’t attended since since I moved back to Philly, but I miss it. I remember every sermon so clearly, including one that Ricky gave about “the church”. I believe we were reading letters written by Paul and he was talking and giving advice to members of the church. Ricky started by reading us some funny reviews he’d found online that people had written about church’s but quickly, as he always did, we got into studying these bible verses. In summary the service went like this, the church is a group of people ( a family ) who are there to worship Jesus, it’s not supposed to be viewed the same way as picking your fav restaurant. If there are ways your church needs improving it is the MEMBERS of the church who are called to do that. In essence you as a member are charged with creating the best church you can, based off of scripture and love. I think it’s funny to see these comments on here, if there’s something you don’t like about a church why not view it as something you have been called to improve rather than hop on google and discuss how the songs are boring. Anyway, this church really saved me when I didn’t even know I needed to be saved. If you attend you can expect sermons that are packed with actual reading from the Bible, not just a bunch of fake messages that make you feel good. It’s so tough to find a church who still puts the scriptures first. Keep it up everyone!
