2 /5 Nicole Santiago: We have been patients of this practice for 10 years. Today my son was denied to be seen because he hasn’t been there in 4 years and doctors have changed. He is now considered a new patient? That doesn’t make sense because my younger son was seen last week and also hasn’t been there for a few years. He was able to be seen with a different doctor with is fine. Also, I am being told that the doctors aren’t accepting new patients at this time, but we are established patients. I understand there aren’t appointments same day due to weather and closures but there are no options given.
I have had this happen a few times with this practice now, since our previous family doctor retired. It’s very disappointing and upsetting because when one is sick, one does not have the energy to be going back and forth trying to get in to be seen with a doctor. We are always being consulted to go to an urgent care. What’s the point of having an in network doctor then? It ends up costing us more having to visit the urgent care. Sadly, we will be moving on and leaving this practice.
