9 bridesmaids, both mothers and a couple cousins boarded a bus to what was supposed to be a nice experience at Blo. Many emails back and forth confirmed that half would sit for hair while the other half would sit for makeup then they would switch. There was a tight two hour window for this and Blo was confident they were right for the job.
An hour after everyone was supposed to arrive back at my venue I called the salon to figure out where the girls were and found out that Because my bridesmaids were 17 minutes late for their appointment due to traffic and natural delays in the wedding day, Blo decided to take walk ins during the blocked off time for my wedding party.
A handful of the girls, including the mother of the groom hadn’t even been helped at the time of my call which was an hour before my ceremony that I’m finding all of this out. Blo called during the time the girls were delayed and spoke directly to me. They never once explained they would take other guests or that our girls would be delayed.
The end result was I didn’t get a single photo with my bridesmaids, the mother of the groom missed out on family photos and my makeup was ruined due to the complete meltdown I had. Many of the girls were upset over the quality of the work that was done as well.
I’d advise everyone to find a different salon, especially if you’re a wedding party.
