    Bell County Museum
Vivian Bermudez: We definitely enjoyed our visit to the Bell County Museum. We were greeted as soon as we came in and he made us feel welcome. We liked the exhibits very much, especially the one with the early modern era artifacts. It was nice to see that they have interactive activities for the kids in different areas of the museum. They also have a gift store and a library/ research area. Definitely worth a visit when you go to Belton.
Chalk Ridge Falls Park - Belton

Elaina Ross: Its a very physical walk and climb if you go off of the boardwalk trail and adventure downstairs around the creek bottom. Absolutely gorgeous and well maintained park, no trash in sight, the dog loved it but she got overheated because shes not used to that much physical activity. I loved our hike and everybody was respectful of each other; no crowding, no loud talking, just all reconnecting with nature
    Yettie Polk Park - Belton
    Yettie Polk Park
Julie Sierra: Yettie Polk Park has always been one of our local favorite spots to go to. It has so much to offer. Multiple basketball courts, hiking and biking trail, playground, gazebo ( you can reserve that with the city as well for private events) easy access to the Nolancreek to cool off in. Not to mention all the great restaurants downtown that are attached to the trail with easy access.
Summer Fun Water Park - Belton
    Summer Fun Water Park
Juli Purcell: We love Summer Fun! We’ve been going there since 2020 and my kids think it’s the best. The water is cold but that’s a GREAT thing in this Texas heat. The lifeguards are sweethearts and good at their job. Concession prices are pretty reasonable. Price for the whole day is less than I’d spend for the movies or an hour or two at the bowling alley. Overall a great summer choice!
Miller Springs Nature Center - Belton
    Miller Springs Nature Center
Lawana Miljenovich: I visited the Miller Springs Nature Center on 5/15/25 during a weekday morning at 9am. Theres another part of the park on the other side called Miller Spring Park and Im not quite sure if I can walk to it from this side. It doesnt look like it from the map. Its a free park and the parking lot isnt very big. I usually see the parking lot full on the weekends a lot. Even in mid May theres still so many pretty wild flowers. This is a very nice little park. Fairly clean although unfortunately I did see a little bit of trash in areas that are a little harder to get to. It has one area with picnic tables at the entrance with lots of shade made by the large trees around it. There are at least 2 bathrooms at the entrance/parking area. There are several different trails that you can choose. I walked the shortest one and it took me a good hour. Mostly because I was stopping to take photos of all the wild flowers and pretty views. The map shows all the different trails and apparently there are even bike trails. So Ill have to bring mine out one day. I think Ill be coming here for my daily walk/exercise since its so close to my house. Theres a good variety for different levels of walking/hiking. The trails arent very well marked but I noticed that even if you take one of the two unmarked trails ahead of you, it SEEMS to get you back to a marked trail. Id take a photo of the map though just in case and some water for sure. This was my first visit and I saw a turtle and either a cardinal or red robin.. not sure as it was too far away (and also I dont know anything about birds). Even though its close to a major road, it was still quiet enough to hear the critters around me.

    Belton Lakeview Park
Rocio Meshirer: Great time on the lake. Enjoyed reading on the shore as the boats came by. Some areas were closed due to resent flooding, but we fished off the shore by the marina. Sunsets was beautiful. No restrooms, we used the restrooms at the gas stations nearby before our visit. All in all it was enjoyable. Highly recommend!
