Jesse Thompson-Cooper: Cute walking trail with life size Dino’s and a little scavenger hunt along the path. My girls really enjoyed seeing the real sizes of the dinosaurs they had been reading about. Each dinosaur had a plaque with information as well. And there was a nice gift shop, with clean restrooms and picnic tables with playgrounds outside. . It was a great stop between Houston and Austin to break up the drive and wear out the kids.

    S. Alyssa: Great museum with a combination of a diverse Texas-centered permanent collection on display plus a temporary community project (made of recycled material) and out of state visiting-artist exhibition (Christopher Randall). Staff is really enthusiastic and kind plus it has great AC perfect for sweaty days. House is beautiful and we’ll kept. If this is a planned visit, bring a book or two because there is a little library off the parking lot.

Cassandra Martinez: Its a long story of how I find this place. I have lived in this town since 2005 and never have I heard or known of this place til my child said Can we stop here? I was like that is someones house and we saw the sign. To know this place is historic. I was shocked. I wish we could see the inside. We would have loved it as much as the outside. Just a little TLC and love would bring it to life. We loved just admiring the outside.

Arnold Saenz: Lights need to be fixed... walking path could use a resurfacing, especially for senior citizens that need a smooth even surface to avoid falls if they lose their balance due to holes, cracks, loose gravel/rocks, and lack of a uniform predictable surface. Grass/weeds need to be cut for greater mosquito control and other problematic insects.

Carolyn Almeida: Took my daughters 3 kids to get happy meals and then they wanted to eat at the park it was about 1 when we got there. Kids love the play gound set at that park. We were there for 2 hrs. But they had fun and thats all thats matters.

Vivian Bermudez: We definitely enjoyed our visit to the Bell County Museum. We were greeted as soon as we came in and he made us feel welcome. We liked the exhibits very much, especially the one with the early modern era artifacts. It was nice to see that they have interactive activities for the kids in different areas of the museum. They also have a gift store and a library/ research area. Definitely worth a visit when you go to Belton.

Elaina Ross: Its a very physical walk and climb if you go off of the boardwalk trail and adventure downstairs around the creek bottom. Absolutely gorgeous and well maintained park, no trash in sight, the dog loved it but she got overheated because shes not used to that much physical activity. I loved our hike and everybody was respectful of each other; no crowding, no loud talking, just all reconnecting with nature
