5 /5 Linda: Really nice mural. We went close to noon so the sun was nice and bright outside. It wasnt difficult getting here and also wasnt crowded either. There was a group of people that stopped by to take a quick selfie but other than that, we were able to take pictures here without feeling rushed or anything. We were already at the cafe next door so it was a quick walk to the corner from there

5 /5 Vijay devara: Very very easy to access this beautiful and colorful mural. If you are Austin i definitely recommend visiting this place because of the neighborhood. The modern houses here are very beautiful, the drive it self is awesome. Even the restaurants here are very unique, you can see different kind of murals in walking distance from here.

5 /5 Mike W: Its the Austin sign, how could you rate this poorly? If youve visited other Texas cities and taken photos with their "Welcome to" signs then you must visit this one too! Its a great mural and not very far off South Congress. Definitely worth a visit!

5 /5 Christine Kim: The Greetings from Austin sign was easy to access, but the one across the street - You belong with the wildflowers - is a bit difficult to take pictures of because of the cables in front. Hopefully you have a wide angle lens available on your phone to make it work! Great looking murals!

Texas Governors Mansion - Austin

Jeff Helton: Came for a "governors tailgate party" before a UT game. Security is very thorough. Although the party was outside, we were able to tour most of the mansion. Its very well preserved (although there was a big fire abt 20 yrs ago). It was unfortunately too hot to stay long, but maybe Ill get invited back someday.

Museum of Natural & Artificial Ephemerata - Austin

Travis Jordan: Absolutely phenomenal. Scott and Jen present a phantasmagorical tale of history and unhistory over an hour, describing dozens of artifacts they’ve collected over the years. A must see for fans of history and the Weird alike.

Walking Tours of Austin - Austin

Jennie Read: Tyler was great, had a lovely morning walk learning all about Austin. Our group was only 6 so nice size for the day. We went to Jo’s for breakfast before meeting which would be recommended also.

Brush Square (O. Henry Museum) - Austin

Miles E: The Brush Square Museums are one of the hidden treasures of the Austin downtown area. Very affordable day activity. Park at the convention Center parking garage for $10 and enjoy the museums for free. Theres a small gift area in the OHenry house, and a playable horizontal baby grand. Check out the art from the streets exhibit, a penny pressing machine, and find a specialized reading room in the Susanna Dickinson house.

Peter Pan Mini-Golf - Austin

Amber Lee: While the surrounding area might not feel too much like Neverland, Peter Pain Mini Golf does have a fun, magical quality to it. The course is an Austin classic for a reason. With two different 18 hole course and a BYOB policy, this putt putt outing sets itself up well for a good time. Getting your clubs and balls are easy and the prices aren’t too bad. Solid start. What is too bad though is the traffic backup on the course. The party sizes allowed here are huge (we saw a party of 8). You could say we’re partially to blame for coming on a Friday night, but man did it take long to get through portions of the course. The course itself is cute with little attractions and sculptures on every hole. Some of the holes were quite challenging which added a layer of fun to it and there being a whole second course adds a lot to the replay value. The whole experience was enjoyable but we would HIGHLY recommend coming at a time where there are less people. Either way you will have fun and it’s a great way to begin a night out in the downtown area.

Austin Texas Mural - Austin

Pearl Brown: It was a nice stop but it’s surroundings screamed ghetto! It was literally a THC shop… would not recommend for kids and families. Because we stopped I still took pictures with the kids to keep them distracted. But I would not take them back.

Pease District Park - Austin

Rachel Maust: 10/10 recommend for all ages! We were visiting the area from out of town and could not have been more impressed. The park had so much to offer... multiple play areas for all ages, grass to run, trails to hike, and great picnic areas. Dont miss out on this park, especially if you have small children. We cannot wait to visit again!

Texas Music Museum - Austin

Paige Giering: if you’re a music fan in any capacity i think this is a great stop when visiting Austin. Spans a lot of history and genres and the volunteers are very knowledgeable and passionate! I was very impressed and happy we stopped by.

Austin Bat Tours - Austin

Kim Santos: Our daughter in law took us while we in town visiting. We were not prepared for how AWESOME this tour was. Just an incredible thing to see. The guides were fun and the boats were clean. We highly recommend!

Luis Francisco González: While bridge itself is mostly unremarkable in terms of design, it offers some of the most scenic views in the city. One of the primary motivations for visits is the nightly emergence of the thousands of bats that call the bridge and the area around it, home. Worth noting that our visit was in early November, and despite the crowds both on the bridge and in the water, there were no bats to be seen that night. Apparently The later sunsets in the summer time are a much better time to watch this spectacle.
