I expected to pay my usual $40 co-pay, but because they used a nasal endoscopy—a procedure that took barely 10 seconds—I was billed $540 before insurance. Even after insurance, I still had to pay $250 on top of my $40 co-pay. Needless to say, I’m not happy. So much for affordable healthcare. I’ve attached my invoice for proof. Dr. Thomas C.
