5 /5 Leah Claunch: My appointment with Marilyn Cadle was amazing. She was very professional, courteous and surprisingly fast. She had a cancellation & worked me into her busy schedule with very little notice. She is an accomplished stylist & I felt perfectly comfortable placing the fate of my hair in her hands. She is very knowledgeable of all the latest styles, techniques & services. I even overheard her instructing a potential client about the different types of hair extensions, the various & best procedures for applying them & the pricing for each. She completed the color & foiling she used to apply the Ombre I requested in record time. And when she began cutting my hair - a welcome surprise - she actually seemed hesitant to cut too much, where alot of stylists whack away with no concern for your request to preserve length. Her booth inside "The Salons" beauty mall in Harker Heights, however a bit crowded, was neat, clean & well organized. I felt especially safe due to the fact that, since my appointment was late in the day & the rest of The Salons had already closed, Marilyns assistant had to use the security feature to open the door & let me out. Her large clientele, lack of available appointments & crowded booth are all testimonies to Marilyns success as a Professional Stylist & Colorist. And the fact that this little lady became a Realtor during the pandemic in order to continue to provide for herself & her family in their accustomed manner speaks volumes with regard to her strong work ethic & can-do attitude. I did feel that she couldve spent more time, and possibly provided additional treatment of some type, to my over processed, frizzy hair, but I didnt request it, & that one negative amidst so many positives didnt affect her 5 star rating in my book. All in all, my service for a shampoo, consultation, cut, 2-color Ombre and Brazilian Blowout style cost $214 plus tip, for my mid-back length, thick hair. Thanks, Marilyn, for a wonderful experience. I will be seeing you again, in approximately 6 weeks!
