1 /5 Nghi Le: Burnt my hair off. I wanted roots touch up, sent pics of my hair beforehand (texts below), you can tell there was a little of bleach work done on the roots just shortly before. Next day, Lena went into first session bleach right away. After first session my hair was already falling off kinda a lot when combing with my fingers, asked her multiple times if that was normal and ok, she assured me that it was and said I needed 2nd session. I asked if it’s better / healthier to do 2nd session on another day or it’s still ok to do it right away, she said it would be healthier for my hair yes but right away is ok too and she knew I had a party to attend later so up to me. I trusted her and chose to go into 2nd session right away, I then told her I bleached my roots at home one time ~2weeks ago at the beginning of the session when bleach was only on the low back of my head, not completely done with the low back even. I remember this vividly because when I bleached it at home the back was not as bright/bleached out as the top of my head (you can see in the pictures i sent her) so I told her that and asked if she could put more bleach there to even it out. She then asked me how I did it and the products I used, said I was brave for doing it at home then continued with the bleach.
My hair burnt off. I could feel how much there is left after and wanted her to take a picture of the back for me just to see, which I still don’t understand why she was being so stingy about, she then led me to a private room and gave me a mirror to see it myself and kept telling me it was all because I told her I bleached it at home once too late and she was not the one at fault / did nothing wrong and how I should be grateful that she isn’t charging me for anything + gave me a small olaplex no°3 bottle with a little bit of an attitude. Which I thought was weird since I remember I kept a pretty calm tone, a little concerned but did not say one word about it being her fault / blame her or be rude and really just wanted a picture of the back of my head (which she never took for me like girl I just wanted my picture). Did not want to make a scene because I had a Christmas party to attend in like 15 minutes.
I do admit I should have told her I bleached it at home before the appointment. But in my opinion, as a professional, there was much more she could have done to prevent that much of my hair from falling off:)
Conclusion: Would not recommend, especially for bleach work.
