We were initially told by others that our vehicle might need a new transmission or catalytic converter—either of which could have cost thousands to repair. Thankfully, Jerry took a close look and discovered it was simply a plugged converter. He could have easily taken advantage of the situation, but instead, he showed incredible honesty and integrity. It’s rare to find a mechanic who truly puts the customer first. Jerry saved us a huge expense, and we’ll definitely be returning for any future automotive needs. Highly recommended!

Louis Sutton I have used All Pro Auto for repairs on all my cars and trucks for years. This is a family run business and Dean is always honest about what you need and treats you right on the price. Unlike the dealerships he will not upsell you on repairs and maintenance you really dont need. A great honest shop which is rare in this day and time.

Claudia Flores I had a really positive experience at Love Field Auto! The entire team was kind and professional, and Lloyd in particular did an excellent job communicating with me and clearly explaining everything. They also offer a discount for hospital employees, which is a great bonus. The shop is conveniently located right across from the DART station, making it easy to drop off your car and go to/from work, especially if you work at Parkland or UTSW. I highly recommend this shop and will continue using their services!

Nelly Nouboussi I would not recommend hiring them to look at your car. We contacted them to inspect a 2016 Hyundai Tucson before purchase. They looked at the car for 5 min and told us it was fine. They even said if it was them they would purchase the car. A week later, that car started having transmission issues. we called them to look at the car again and they said there was a part we needed to replace and the car will be fine. They told us they could not have known that the car had a problem even though it is literally their job to detect that. They tried replacing the part but the problem only got worse. We didnt want to pay them initially because they didnt solve the issue but they started yelling at us, threatening us. One of the guys especially seemed very angry and was ready to fight us. We paid them because we did not want to start a fight. We later found that the car had a transmission failure and it would cost $5000 to fix. They are incompetent. They could not detect that the car had a problem before we bought it and even when we called them back they could not correctly diagnose the problem. We paid them twice and still had a defective car. Please find someone else for your car issues. They are very shady!

Carol Erdmann When I made the appointment and told Jared the problem he explained what they would do and approximate cost. When I arrived everyone was friendly and welcoming. Jared checked me in and explained exactly what would be done. Waited for my car and free coffee, water and drinks were available. Car was ready a short time later. The bill was what they said it would be. Was referred by three different people who said they were trustworthy, reliable and honest which proved to be true. Very positive experience, relief to know I have a place to take my car with people I can trust and will certainly go back.

Ashlee Hill Jacob and the team at Baker Automotive were amazing! I initially thought I needed a new transmission, but after some trial and error, they were able to find the root cause of my issues. They went above and beyond to rebuild a part instead of having to order it, which saved me $1500. I truly felt like they cared about making sure they provided good, honest service without trying to profit off of me. I dont see myself using anyone else for any service needs in the future.

Carmen Davila I came in on Monday because something was dragging under my car after I guess I hit something. It turned out to be a piece of plastic, but I was worried it could’ve damaged my brake lines or something more serious. The team was super nice, informative, fixed it quickly, and didn’t make me feel like I was being taken advantage of—which, as a woman, I really appreciated. They were honest, professional, and made me feel comfortable. Would definitely go back!

Cole Allen (Oleyeah) Great people who work there. Keep in mind that the clerks are not mechanics this is a auto parts store , not a mechanics shop. Expect to be greeted with respect not like other stores. Beats having to drive to other towns for the same part and wasting half of your day. if your time is important then shop locally.

Travis Hudson They dont seem to ever have the part I need or they dont have any idea what the part is. Unfortunately, I always end up going to TSC or Oriellys for the part. Certain employees seem to be annoyed when I ask if they have a certain type of tool, while friendly to other customers.

Jordan Schanche Art and his brother are awesome mechanics. Very straight up and honest. Family owned business. I will be back to get my brakes done soon. Also, for inspection, they are super quick.

Ray Jones All the modern features you can ask for packed in a small local business. They can do it all from Tractor tires, semi tires, and regular trucks too! Oil changes, tire rotations, and reset the TPMS so it shows correct in your vehicle. Bryce went out of his way to make sure service was top notch and his tire techs were fast and friendly. They will be the only ones servicing my personal and fleet vehicles here in Lamesa!

The owner is amazing, the work done was fast and my car is back driving perfectly, the price was fair and the customer service here is TOP TIER! I won’t be going anywhere else for my car service.

Joshua Limas In March 2025, went to this shop to get some work done on my 2018 Ford Explorer. I had my breaks and rotors done. I also mentioned to the owner of this shop that a clicking noise was coming from the engine and if he could run a diagnostics test. He later informed me that it was the harmonic balancer and he could order the part and fix the issue. After a few weeks he called me to bring my truck to install the part. I went Friday and dropped off my truck he said it would be fixed the next day, to come by around noon and it would be ready. Went at 1pm, the owner stated he needed more time so I said I would be back later that evening and I arrived around 6pm and to my surprise it was not ready.He said the part ordered by him was not the right one, he put the old one back on. He called me another couple of weeks later to bring my truck in to install the part and I dropped off my truck and once again he stated it would be ready the next day. I went the next day a total of 3 times and not only was my truck not ready but he said it was the wrong part again! By this time I was frustrated and asked for a refund due to the owner giving me the run around and constantly lying to me. Went to 3 different shops which one of them was a Ford dealership and they all gave me the same answer that it was not the harmonic balancer but only a belt issue. They stated the harmonic balancer was tampered and damaged by the previous shop I took it to. I paid 1700 for the part at the Ford dealership. After a month and a half the dealership called me that they were unable to find the part due to it being on permanent back order and could no longer keep searching for the part. I was refunded my money for the part and the dealership advised me that I may need to buy another vehicel in time due to the part not available. I later found I out that Coit Auto Shops mechanics are not CERTIFIED but are apprentices. This shop ruined my truck and now I have to find another vehicle due to them tampering with the part. I highly recommend you dont go to this shop and if you do BEWARE of tampering/damaging your vehicle. This shop does not even deserve one star. Only reason why I waited so long to write the review is due to waiting for all the shops to give me the diagnosis. This place is a complete zero and piece of crap!!!!

Shin Ohno This place is amazing! They are really honest about letting me know what I need and don’t need to make the car safe and drivable. I originally had one of major mechanic chain stores checked my car. Their quote was almost $10,000 and I was devastated. But, when I talked to Simon from this mechanic store, he diagnosed the car (he used the diagnostics from the other mechanic chain store as a reference and didn’t even charge for their diagnostics!) and honestly told me that I only need a half of the things that another mechanic told me. Simon and his team got it done for $2,300. Each item they charge me was only about a 1/2 of the other store. Thanks to Auto Repair, my car is functioning well. I would recommend this place to anyone, especially to the people who are in the same shoes as I was.

Joshua Mount I had a hard to track electrical issue with my horn on and older truck and they were able to find it and install a workaround, though I wish the horn button was on the steering wheel or on the left side (Im left handed as mentioned) and brought it in with nearly a full tank and had my gas light on and a dead battery when picking it up, having to replace the battery (that could have been coincidence, it was an old battery) it taking 2 weeks to get repaired, I appreciate the work they did.

Really nice and professional people. I will definitely come back when my car needs other repairs in the future. Highly recommend their business!

Elizabeth Valdez I had a really big job for him. My car was making a horrible knocking sound I got ripped off by one mechanic who took my $$ & wanted to charge me for a new motor. I knew something was wrong so I took my car to JP from out of town & I needed a new head gasket & timing chain which is no easy job by any means. I have been taking my cars to JP for 15 years & he has always done a great job! He saved me alot of time & $$$$. Good things happen to him because he treats others well. If he cant fix it he will tell you.

B R I want to give a shout out to Max. Hes the guy thats in charge at the moment. I highly recommend you come to this firestone and deal with him.Dont deal with his boss, barry, likes to upcharge people. Great customer service fr Max. he made me feel like a valuable customer. And if I do decide to return to this firestone, it would be to only deal him. Im dealing with him made me leave a five star Review after my bad experience.

Jeffery McMahon Please don’t bother taking your car here. The most poorly ran Firestone I’ve ever been to. No manager on site, the staff had zero customer service skills and no sense of urgency. Dropped my car off at 2:45pm, for my 3 o’clock appointment. They said it would be ready by 4pm. I came back at 5pm and they still hadn’t touched it. But they quickly billed my fleet management company at 3:30pm. Working hard to get them removed as the preferred vendor.
