Stefene I had my car towed to this shop 2 years ago because the antifreeze was draining under my car. The shop owner replaced a small conector plug in type part under the hood close to the master cylinder. ( I had blown up and turned to gel.He also told me he had to remove my catalysts convertor in order to finish this repair. All said and done... the catalysts convertor had nothing to do with what he replaced under the hood. He did not offer to give my catalysts convertor back to me.Im sorry to know I was ripped off and now Im in another state an did an emissions test done to get my new tag and the catalysts convertor popped up that I need to replace it. I trusted these guys and Im wondering why they did this to me. Their prices were always reasonable but nit giving my catalysts. convertor back to me with them knowing it was the original and worth money speaks for its self. Single femals!!! WATCH OUT!!! DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CAR AT THEIR SHOP BY ITSELF WHILE THEY ARE WORKING ON IT.

Ch47 Terrible place to get your vehicle worked on took 3 months to replace an engine and didn’t get done right kept raising the price and had to bring it back because the job was done wrong and took another 3weeks for them to not do work on it. Ended up just taking my truck elsewhere

adrian garza Got my brake pads and brake shoes replaced honest people here informed me of a brake drum cylinder I needed replaced and they even mentioned that i didn’t have to do it now but it would be cheaper so I appreciate the honesty of it all charged me $105 for front brake pad replacement and rear brake drum shoes replaced and the brake drum cylinder replacement as well as a rotation on my wheels , so pricing was good and fair! Work was done on a full size pick up truck

Elida Ramirez Went in for reverse lights, the gentleman diagnosed and said it was the transmission range switch, no one had the part but the dealership so he wouldn’t touch it because it’s next to transmission. Went to dealership replaced the switch and spent over $300 with parts and labor. Turns out the switch was fine, went back to him and he said it’s the switch so I asked if he could just double check the wiring but he refused. Went back to Nissan and spent another $100, turns out the harness on the side of door panel had a green wire sticking out which controls reverse lights. Put electrical silicone tape myself and fixed the problem. Very bad service!! He didn’t even want to take a look at wiring when I showed up exactly at 8am twice with nissan master mechanic recommendations. I would not recommend if you want someone who will give you that one on one quality service.lmao I didn’t use glue I used liquid electric tape. And you didn’t charge me the first time because what you checked I had already checked but you didn’t want to check the wiring and you could have atleast checked passed the switch wiring but refused. Relax I didn’t use glue.

Samuel Guillen This place is a MUST VISIT. I have now been here on 2 separate occasions for 2 minor issues. A sensor light and window control switch. Both times I was not only on my way within 10 minutes but I also was not charged for the amazing service. I would recommend coming here for vehicle needs!

Tracy Atkinson Went to get an estimate. Individual that does estimates was not at the shop. He was communicating with me on the phone and the other guy in charge at the shop. The older gentleman at the shop was professional and helpful. However, the guy in charge of giving auto estimates sounds very arrogant. I asked to meet so he can see my car. Never agreed to and was just going by photos. I even text him for an estimate to paint my entire car. No response. I then went to EC body shop on frontage in Brownsville, TX. Staff is extremely helpful. The gentleman in charge of giving estimates was not in the office. But the receptionist called him and he met me at his business in less than 30 minutes. Very helpful and prices were decent. I’ll be posting his work soon.

sergman08 Had a small wreck that ended up being a bigger task than originally anticipated. Thankfully they were able to get the process done quickly. Had to get a new door and axel installed. Great work on the paint and truck is back up and running great.

Hypothetically, if I had gone on vacation, and lent my car to someone, and then they got a huge dent on it, but didnt tell me and then they took it to EC Body Shop and they worked on it, well I wouldnt be able to tell that there was a dent on it in the first place after they finished. Thats how good their work is! Highly recommend!!!!

shanie viator Paid $600 for nothing guy did nothing to the vehicle and still charged $600 horrible people God will be there for these type of people at the end. Gave parts to mechanic to fix and wet to go pick up car it still had the code that the parts were not changed. It is because my wife dropped off the vehicle with no man around they took advantage. Not trustworthy, not reliable mechanics at all, please save yourself the hassle.

Beadriana Malnyrup I took my truck to get it checked because the check engine light was on. The truck got scanned and he toldme which part to buy, which I did. I picked up the truck, the light was off at first but before I got home, the light turned on again. I went autozone the next day to get it rescanned and they told me it was the part that had just been changed. I called him and he was rude, belligerent, and un professional. I explained the situation and he told me he that he would charge again. He is totally unprofessional and a thief. He rips people off and his work warranty is nonexistent, his customers get screwed over and over because he wants to charge several times. Definitely not trustworthy and not worth recommending would definitely not business with him again.

Raquel Sherman I went last week to replace my entire AC system and have zero complaints. I haven’t had working AC for over a year and had been around Brownsville trying to find a reasonable mechanic but was quoted very high amounts to do the job. At Dans, I was able to get the whole system replaced in 4 hours for a 1/3 of the price of other mechanics quotes. Dans work included 6 month warranty on labor and lifetime warranty on the parts. He was patient and explained everything to me as someone who knows zero about cars. Would definitely recommend!

Maria Infante Went in for an oil change. First my Ford App let me know I needed one. Next I got a text to let me schedule one. I went ahead and called to see if they could get me in at a convenient time. They did and along with the oil change, they told me they could do other checks with my permission. I agree and sat down in their comfortable waiting area watching TV. After about an hour to hour and a half, my car was ready. Paid my invoice and left. Every one was polite and this was quick and effortless on my part. Ford is so convenient. But more important, I dont have to worry about their expertise. That is why I love buying Ford vehicles and having them do the maintenance.

Leo Rodriguez .Lower Rio Grande Valley History Horrible customer service. Drove there from San Benito (26 miles), repair shop was recommended by friend. Drove up, was greeted, explained car’s problems/symptoms with owner (?). He stated the other mechanic was more familiar with engine symptoms, would go call him. After bout 10 minutes or so same man told us the mechanic was in bathroom, would tend to us asap. After waiting another 1/2 hour or so I went up to same man, asked if we were going to be assisted, he said we would be attended to shortly. After waiting for over an hour we left, figured if their service was this poor, I didn’t need them anywhere mere my vehicle. Never again.

Dora Gonzalez Absolute worst service - isn’t even worth 1 star. Do not recommend ! Vehicle was taken to them for ac issues - they broke the vehicles windshield while “fixing” the ac issue. The ac issue was supposed to be due to evap core which they quoted me at $500 with a warranty of 6 months. Of course when we went to pick up the vehicle the ac was worse than when it was taken in. They claimed the air compressor was the issue. Which wasn’t the case from the beginning so I’m sure they had something to do with that. Also they changed the warranty to 3 months which is a joke considering they didn’t even change the evap core as I’m now finding out with a legit mechanic. Please save yourself the trouble and skip this place. They also have the worst charmer service.
