June Boucher I recently visited this location It is my regular location for an oil change on my vehicles. In the recent visit, my debit card did not seem to work and the owner requested cash, which we were able to do. A few days later, it was noted that the debit transaction did go through. I contacted the owner and took in documentation of the bank transaction as well as my receipt for cash. The owner was very hospitable and courteous. She investigated the situation, and made a return call confirming from her end that the transaction had ended up going through. The funds were quickly returned to my debit card. I also recommend this location for fast service, meaning there are minimal delays in receiving an oil change. I have visited OTHER oil change locations in Alice where I would wait 20-30 minutes in the vehicle for an attendant to address my need and finally would leave without service.

Dylan De Leon Rubi from the office was awesome. I had a flat tire with a special anti theft lugnut that no one had. She sent out Jose and he got the job done. And their price was very reasonable! 10/10 recommend

Goran Vidovic Tire blew while having a loaded van. Reached out to my insurance and Alice tire gave me a call and arrived within 45min. I went on google maps to see how far the shop is and it was exactly 45min. Really have with how quick they arrived and took care of the problem within 10min, thank you guys so much!

Matthew Ford The head mechanic is very knowledgeable and all are very friendly and personable. They take very good care of my father and his car.

Jimmy Reeve Great place to have minor and major vehicle repairs done. They are honest people and do the job right. If youre not completely satisfied they will make it right. I recommend this shop for all your vehicle needs. Louis and his wife are great people. They will go out of there way to help im any way they can. They also do state inspections.

Amador Dominguez My family has always taken our vehicles here for any issue, small or large. This is the only shop in Alice I trust to be treated fairly with no BS or shady lies. The owner and his employees are polite and most importantly HONEST about what work needs to be done. I recently took a 2003 F350, which hadn’t been started in years. A’s Automotive gave it a once over and replaced only the components they felt needed for a safe startup to mitigate lubrication issues. They take great pride in their work and definitely look out for the customer’s best interest. I am proud to say I stand by this shop 100% and will continue as long as they’re open. I drop my vehicles off knowing when I get the call for what needs to be replaced, there’s an honest person on the other end of the phone and not just someone out to take my money. If I could give extra stars for previous work I would. *add two thumbs up*

ayeitskay _ wonderful experience ! fixed my ac same day on a holiday was pleasantly surprised with how smoothly everything went. He saved my car from bursting into flames so i can only say good things. The owner was very knowledgeable and you can tell he likes his craft. Theres also a cute dog there time to time just all around a great place. ill be going here from now on!

Edith Price They do what you ask of them to fix on your vehicle and you dont have a expensive diagnostic. You already know wants wrong most of the time thats why you need your vehicle repaired.

I just hope everyone learn there listened stop drinking and driving. If your ex wife end your marriage is not not the end of the world. Its the beginning of a new journey to a better life with someone who actually teach one of other. I like this place its cool. I stay at junk yards. Buying parts for my van or someone needs something on there car. But here in Alice I dont know were if there a junkyard. Or not but I know their place have what I need.

Alexis M. Quintanilla I actually called this auto center before I made the trip. I live in Orange Grove that is a 25 min drive . The employee that answered the phone was Ericka and she also attended me at the Auto Center once I arrived. I had a battery w/ 5 yr warranty a 3yr free replacement and 2 yr pro rate . I purchased back in 2018 here we are 2020 and I could not find my receipt .I told Ericka I was desperate need of a battery replacement for my VW Routan left me stranded every time I shut off the engine. I was almost in tears when the mechanics told me that my battery was dead and put my battery back in the car and handed me keys and said I would need to return another day when they had time because their next test to see if it held a charge was going to take some time, time they didnt have because they were closing. I explained to them it will not hold a charge I know because I had tried, several times, even a trickle charge and didnt work. They were more concerned with leaving home exactly at 6pm when they close.. I had tears in my eyes I was so frustrated. Luckily Ericka the employee that told me to come in so they could look at the battery decided to stay longer and help me, she got the battery out of the car this is the 2nd time and put it on their diagnostic tool She asked if had time to get me a confirmation whether it held a charge or NOT, I said absolutely knowing it wouldnt and AFTER 30 MIN SHE CAME BACK WITH THE CONFIRMATION I NEEDED for WALMART TO HONOR ME A FREE replacement .SHE WAS A LIFE SAVER. SHE WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND DIDNT APPEAR BOTHERED at all THAT SHE was still at work JUST TO SATISFY A CUSTOMER. SHE HANDED ME A BRAND NEW Maxxx Ever Ready 800CA and 1000CC which was the same as my old one. I was so happy with that outcome, it was quite different than what I expected after being handed back my keys from the mechanic . Thank you Ericka, your A-1 in my book and definitely deserve some R&R for going over and beyond in customer service!

Charlie Knowlton Tried to call and get some information over a 3 hour time period, with the automotive department never answering their phone. Walked in the next morning to have an oil change and the entire department was still closed and the employees didn’t show up to work and the manager had no clue, and this was close to an hour after open.

OJ I solo-pitted 23 cars in one shift while someone else did inventory. No help. No respect. Just silence. That wasnt effort — that was a shop record! I got that! (Summer 2024) A few weeks later, they said I "wasnt working hard enough." Nah... I just worked harder than anyone else ever did - and that made the wrong people uncomfortable.

Lucky for me the dealership was able to diagnosis the problem correctly and get my car fixed.

South Texas Human Rights Center needed a new car battery, and Firestone took care of everything quickly and professionally. I called ahead to let them know the car was still running but needed a battery replacement. They told me to come on in and assured me theyd work with me. As someone from out of town, I appreciated how smoothly everything went. They also checked my tires—since I got them from Firestone—which gave me extra peace of mind. Great service!
