Michael Monroe I grew up in Ft. Worth where we have a Reata Restaurant. It was the graduation, big promotion type of venue. You know, something special.
We were delighted to see that Alpine’s and FTW Reata’s are related. And you can tell from the fine dining pulled off effortlessly, the innovative menu and the atmosphere.
I love the idea of a restaurant situated in an old house. Many of the same menu items, but a better wine and whiskey selection.
Service was very good. A young man about to head off to college. Food was Excellent.
We really liked the bar and it will be on our short list when we return.
Although it was raining the night we were there, they appear to have an excellent back porch area that would be great summer dinners.
