Dave Newman This place is amazing. I wish we lived closer. Every time we pass through here we stop especially for the tacos! They are huge and the rice is amazing. The staff is always friendly and you are made to feel like friends here. We can’t say enough good things about this place.

I ordered Grandma’s Holiday Sampler (Grandmas Plate) and it was exactly the kind of comfort food I was looking for. ​What really made the visit stand out, though, was our waitress, Cortney. She was incredibly friendly and provided top-tier customer service. It’s rare to find service this genuine these days—the management team there should be very proud to have her on the team! If youre stopping through Lufkin, ask for Cortney."

Miss Nicole I placed a to-go order via inside the restaurant. Kaden was awesome! His customer service and friendliness were outstanding and very welcoming. It was my first time ordering from the to-go side, and he made it an amazing experience!

ZACH RIGSBY Out of state guests. Stopped in about 20 min after they opened. Friendly staff, food was hot & fresh, large variety of choices, great service (waitress was very kind & cleared our table promptly), & the mens room was exceptionally clean. Great place, wed stop in again for sure & for the food that we got for the price per person, Id say we definitely got our moneys worth.

Raymond This is truly a step back in time! Rays Drive-In in Lufkin delivered one of the best hamburgers I’ve ever had — second only to my mom’s! The atmosphere is fantastic, with a classic car-hop theme that brings all the nostalgia in the best way. I was in town getting some work done by a local practitioner at MMA, and April recommended this spot. I’m so glad she did. The food was wonderful, the vibe was perfect, and the whole experience felt like a delicious trip into the past. Highly recommended!

Sam McClanahan Every part of my experience was great. There was a slight delay for me to be seated when I initially arrived. The server apologized and promptly took care of it. I used the powder room, and the bus boy bussed my table. The server corrected that and apologized.

JBGD Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in Lufkin, Texas was a great place to eat. We went on a Thursday evening and it was not to busy and the staff was fantastic, very helpful with any questions we had about the menu. My wife had the Italian Margarita made with Jose Cuervo Especial Silver tequila, triple sec, and topped with amaretto, a sweet Italian liqueur. She really enjoyed it. We had an order of calamari which was cooked perfectly, we had the seafood alfredo and the cheese ravioli with meat sauce and a salad and of course the bread sticks which were delicious. Our first time going to Olive Garden and we can not wait to go again!

James Rhodes Early dinner visit. The food was excellent—absolutely no complaints there. When we arrived, they were playing some pretty loud, pop-style Christmas music, which was a bit much. To their credit, they did turn it down somewhat when asked, and that helped. Service was decent, though the server could have been a bit more attentive. Our drink order was taken quickly, but we didn’t get another chance to order appetizers separately, so we had to order everything at once. As a result, there wasn’t much time to enjoy the apps before the main courses arrived, which came out fairly quickly. If I had one real complaint, it would be the cleanliness of the restrooms, which was far below expectations. Overall, though, the food was outstanding and everything else was fine. I’m still giving this a 5 because of the quality of the food, but if there were a 4.5 option, that would probably be more accurate.

Judy Hamilton Southern country catfish, shrimp, and oysters. Its as good grilled as it is fried! If you can stop in and take advantage of the salad bar featuring pickled okra, green tomato relish, potato salad, Cole slaw, and all the fixins for a green salad or baked potatoes. Whatever you do, dont skip the pinto beans!!! I have been known to drive up and order beans and hush puppies and be a happy country girl!!!! The location is rustic country with solid wood bench seating. Service is always given with a personal touch.

Shai Castillo Kendra was so sweet!! The food was amazing I had the Lemon Herb chicken bowl... 15/10! Service 1000/10!! The Ranger Rita was also very good! cant wait to come back for lunch!

K. Patel Sagar “Sid” The only highlight of this restaurant was Sean. He’s the bomb. Food is below mid, service is meh. From the salsa to the entree, it’s definitely a different approach to Tex-Mex. Maybe it’s for you, maybe it’s not. Wasn’t for us, but hopefully Sean can try to make it better!

Jp Lewis This has to be the best restaurant on the planet. Our waitress Savanna, despite the fact I think she was the true goddess of thunder, was AWESOME! Very attentive and super nice. The food is absolutely amazing. Really doesnt matter what you get. The beef fajitas were very likely the most tender and flavorful Ive ever had. Their gumbo is 2nd to none! It was a wonderful time here despite the massive thunder storm outside.

Ryan And Tiff Tex Mex but more. Its a fun atmosphere. Good staff. Great food that has some interesting twists like pablano pasta and birra tacos. Even the salsa was hot and fresh and tasted fire roasted. I really liked this place its not cookie cutter its unique and fun. Def 5/5
