5 /5 Catsur na: Pros: fantastic selection of savory and sweet food, freshly made food, delicious meats, huge portions, the only thing open late in town, indoor seating, nice gift section
Cons: none
TLDR; Its kind of like a smaller, but more interesting and better version of Buc-ees. I highly recommend checking out this place!
Its a small town, but this is definitely worth stopping for! They have counter service, so you can get freshly made brisket/sausage sandwiches, bbq loaded potatoes, kolaches/sweets, and more. They have a good amount of indoor seating so you can even eat your delicious deli-ordered food right there! They have plenty of packaged goods too, so you can buy jars of sauce or marinated vegetables for use at home, get some shortbread cookies or lemon pie to-go, among many other tasty things to eat. They even have a section for unique non-food gifts. The place is decorated with some very well done taxidermy that gives it a charming local vibe; I couldnt stop staring at their awesome huge river otter! All the employees were welcoming, helpful and sweet. I would stop here over Buc-ees any time!
