The Plaza Restaurant & Bar - Lubbock (TX)

4 /5 Leah G.: Hadn’t been here for a few years so we decided to give the Slide location a try. We were impressed overall. Great service. Delicious food. Chips arrived hot. It did take awhile for the food to arrive at our table when it wasn’t all that busy inside the restaurant but when it arrived, it was hot and delicious. Overall, we were very impressed with our second visit… much more so than our first at the Milwaukee location. Would definitely come back again.

5 /5 Tyson Yarborough: I have been 3 times with my family (and they go all the time). We love it. The food, service and atmosphere have always been great. The only thing I would knock is their margaritas...could use a little TLC. However, many of their other drinks are great. Im just a picky margarita dude. Also, they took care of 15 of us quite well. The hostesses did an excellent job of giving a polite and professional first impression. I just moved to Lubbock and will definitely be going there. I had Chicken Fajita Nachos last time and they were delicious. Give it a shot!

5 /5 Jay Rodriguez: Found a hair in my food, but aside from that the food itself was really good. The manager handled the situation very well and took care of the issue by covering the meal. Overall, it was a good experience and I appreciate how professionally it was handled.

2 /5 Cassandra Hensley: Dont waste your time or money. While the service was excellent and the atmosphere as expected, the food was awful. The salsa tasted like it came out of jar, the queso was reheated cheese whiz, the guisada sauce had decent flavor but the meat was hard and tasteless, and the beef enchilada with red sauce was inedible with the meat having the consistency of dog food. Ive heard mixed reviews on the Plaza but now firmly side with those who say theyll never go back. There are better Tex-mex options in town, dont waste your time or money on this place.
