5 /5 Alana Strong: Sugar & Rye was amazing! Our server, Dimitri, took amazing care of us. We were a large group and everyone was taken care of. The service was so great and the food was amazing. We had the fried green tomatoes & corn bread as appetizers which were delicious. I had the filet mignon & Mac and cheese and it was so good. My steak was cooked perfectly and the flavors were amazing. Next time I’m in Galveston I want to come back for brunch! If you’re in town, definitely plan to eat here.

5 /5 Cesiley Stroud: Dimitri was phenomenal and took care of our 15 person group with such ease! He made it look easy, didn’t make us wait, and accommodated us so well. He was kind, polite, and efficient in taking our orders, making sure we had drinks and kept our girl group hydrated *wink wink*! He recommended the Jenny’s Loaded Chocolate Milk for a dessert drink and it was PHENOMENAL. The perfect mixture of the best chocolate milk flavor plus has the best vodka bite. The Red Snapper was also so great! So tender and the flavorful. If you are a fish fanatic like me, red snapper is a hard fish to cook and they did so amazing with it! AND the bignets!? SO FLUFFY and the raspberry compote was delicious! Truly recommend coming back for dinner time. Such a cozy and romantic atmosphere for a date night or the best girls night! Ask for Dimitri!

5 /5 Kolishia Green: Omg! I can not say ENOUGH about this establishment!! We reserved a very large table for my SIL (sister-in-law) Birthday + some! So accommodating and gracious because I know we were ALOT... Kyrie(please forgive me if I misspelled your name) and Sissy were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING HOSTS!! The food and cocktails were Great not one guest had any problems... Large group and SO many people, the service was EXCEPTIONAL! THANK YOU! 20+ served in this group and not 1 complaint. Sugar & Rye was AMAZING!

5 /5 Mark Feferman: Really cute Inn restaurant with great food. The saltine crackers and pimento cheese was a great start. The coconut shrimp was really good, my burger was great (loved the pretzel bun), and my girlfriend said the red snapper was really good. Looking forward to going back for other mains and the amazing sounding desserts.

5 /5 Derek Babcock: Amazing fried green tomatoes! Staff super friendly. Slower paced restaurant which was fine for us because we had time to kill before our next adventure. The SR burger is definitely one to eat with a fork.
