1 /5 John Karakaris: Id been looking forward to trying this BBQ spot for a while, but every time I stopped by, it was closed. Finally got the chance to visit on 9/20/25, and boy, was it a letdown. We stood in the order area for 5 minutes before I had to ask if I was in the right spot to order - no one acknowledged us until then, and the staff seemed annoyed when I asked for clarification.
We ordered the 2-meat, 2-side plates and 3 brisket sandwiches with queso, plus drinks. Limited drink options, and they were out of half the choices. They didnt give us our drinks with the order, so I assumed theyd bring them out with the food.
The brisket queso arrived first, and while it wasnt bad, the stale tostadas were a letdown. When the food came out, all the meat was cold except the ribs, which were tiny but fell-off-the-bone delicious and had great flavor - they were the only highlight. The brisket was a disaster - no flavor, no smoke ring, and tough to chew. My fiancée and I both had issues with our brisket, and the chopped brisket was dry and tough.
The sides were also subpar - I had beans and pea salad, and they just didnt taste good. After 20 minutes without drinks, I asked to speak to the manager. He listened to our complaints and promised to bring our drinks, but never followed up. We ended up having to ask someone at the bar for our drinks and, thankfully, they gave us a refund for the uneaten food.
If youre looking for a spot to have a conversation and a beer, this place might work. But avoid it for the BBQ.
