Smithhart’s Texas Grill - Angleton (TX)

4 /5 John Seckar: I loved the place. The wait staff were friendly and helpful. But being brutally honest I was expecting fresh Turkey in my sandwich not like Carl Buddig rolled up slices which tastes way different than Deli sliced turkey. The texture is just gross to me. Other than that the ambiance and atmosphere was great and the layout felt authentic Texan.

5 /5 Collin Grizzle: Food was awesome. Service was top-teir. Went there with family after my grandpa funeral service today because it was one of his favorite spots to go to and the whole setup was wonderfully done by the staff and the food was delicious. Buffalo bites were amazing and the sweet tea was perfect. Definitely check it out if youre hungry and want some great food for lunch or dinner.

3 /5 Sherman On: A good restaurant. Food came out hot. Flavors were good. The freshness of the shrimp was excellent. The amount of oil seemed a bit too much for the dish I had. The parking lot had many spots and seemed wide too. The servers were friendly and attentive. The inside is dated. Could use an update and still keep it nostalgic style. The facility is clean. Note my rating system: 1 Star: I wouldnt recommend 2 Stars: Didnt hit my standards 3 Stars: Average (nothing special) 4 Stars: Above Average. Would recommend. Still looking for the 5 Star. 5 Stars: Top of their game. Great food. Great service. Would recommend and plan on returning.

3 /5 Tiffany V: Food was just, OK. Didnt love it, but didnt hate it. Was a bit bland even with salt & pepper. I would go back to try something different though. Got the chicken fried steak with gravy and mashed potatoes. The menus need to be updated, BAD! Instead of reprinting new menus, they just crossed out prices and hand wrote the new prices. Service wasnt bad, but it wasnt great either. Place is very cute with an old timey feel.

5 /5 Sandra: April 2025. An excellent meal. The seafood meals were hot and tasty. The coffee was hot hot and freshly made, even for 5:pm. The meals came out fast. The waitress was attentive and friendly. This restaurant will be on our circuit for Date Night Great food and friendly faces.
