5 /5 Ron Butler: First time trying this place out. Chicken and shrimp gumbo in sourdough bowl was killer! Im already planning when to have it again. Bang bang shrimp were perfect. Jambalaya with rice I give a 7 out of 10. Little to tomato based for me. Still cleared my plate. You have to try this place!

3 /5 Lera: Very well decorated space. Service was decent. It was pretty slow when we came, so it took us a moment to find where to order. The food was pretty good. The shrimp and crab gumbo tasted really good with their signature hot sauce, and was a fair price for the portion. The fried snapper was also good. The breading had a good flavor and was crispy. For those that haven’t eaten whole fish before, you have to be careful with taking out the bones when you eat it. I could see that potentially being a hassle if you aren’t aware of it.

5 /5 Carri Doughty: I finally made it to Denton to try this great place that Ive heard so much about. Its literally one of the cleanest restaurants Ive been into in a long time! The counter staff was so sweet and helpful. The kitchen is super clean too, I love that they leave it open so that you can see it. The food was absolutely wonderful! We ordered Gumbo, fresh oysters, catfish, and okra. EVERYTHING was fantastic!! The catfish was just like I love it, not too thick, crispy, and so flavorful! Even the tartar sauce and ranch were so good! Definitely try this great restaurant the next time you are in Denton!!
