1 /5 Nikki Sapp: As others have said, the ambiance was very pleasant. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. But beyond that, it was not good news. I ordered the chicken fried rice. The chicken was inedible. It was the consistency of bacon, I dont know how else to describe it. It was very thinly sliced, dried out, and very hard on the outside. Not crispy, just hard. The rice was okay but clearly had been cooked earlier and still had hard clumps and lumps of rice. It was also very salty. My friend ordered the vermicelli with chicken slices. Her chicken was also inedible. We shared an order of egg rolls which really consisted of essentially a barely warm pork sausage in a fried wrapper. It was very greasy and not good. The water was bottled, so refills were never offered. Even though we were the only people in the restaurant for lunch, the man who was serving the tables never checked on us to see if we wanted or needed anything or to ask if everything was okay. When we finished, we sat for about 20 minutes chatting and waiting for him to bring the check. When we finally asked for it, he said we could pay at the register. He was the person at the register. Overall, a very disappointing experience, and we will not return.
