1 /5 Josiah Gipson: I didn’t want to come on here being a Karen, I’ve worked in food service for over three years and I can sympathize most of the time. This time I can’t do that. Server was so uninterested the entire time, if you’re having a bad day I get it. But that’s being a server you have to put on a fake smile, she wasn’t rude but she didn’t show she cared about giving good service. That wasn’t the biggest issue. The biggest issue is that I asked to trade the chicken out for steak on the fettuccine Alfredo and was charged $10 extra dollars for it (She never told me there would be a difference.) I didn’t find out that it was a difference until I was paying.
1- the chicken Alfredo is $21 dollars, if you trade the chicken for steak it should be the same price maybe a small difference
2-the steak Gorgonzola right under it is 21 dollars with added blue cheese and other stuff etc, charge me for that and just take off the extra stuff.
It’s that easy, there were better ways to charge me. But no, she didn’t even tell me about a difference, and when I asked about it she said she’d talk to the manager which she came back and said they wouldn’t change it.
I would have been more honest and fought my way through it, but I didn’t want to come off as a Karen. It’s just ridiculous, why are we ripping people off?
