4 /5 jorge martine: Went to Ojos Locos to watch a game, and the start was honestly a little awkward. There was no host up front, so I ended up standing there for about five minutes before I finally went and asked where I could sit. They sat me right in front of a TV, which was fine, but it took around 10 minutes before anyone noticed me. At that point, I was a bit disappointed.
But things definitely turned around once my waitress showed up. She was super nice and actually asked what game I was trying to watch. She went out of her way to change the TV for me so I didn’t have to be looking up at the top screen the whole time. That small thing really made the experience better.
I ordered a beer, some chips and nachos, and ceviche — all of it was really good. The DJ was playing since it was a Thursday, so the vibe was fun, and once I was settled in, I enjoyed the game, had a couple beers, and it turned into a pretty good night.
Overall, the customer service ended up being solid thanks to the waitress. The only downside was that awkward wait when I first walked in. But after that, everything else was goo
