5 /5 Maurice Garcia: Monterrey Café is truly a prime “hole-in-the-wall” gem! My family and I stumbled upon it while driving down the highway after finding it online, and I’m so glad we did. The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and made with love you can taste in every bite. The service was just as impressive, friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Sometimes the best places aren’t the big flashy restaurants, but the hidden spots like this that make you feel at home. Definitely worth the stop!

5 /5 Russell Spillers: Great spot right off Highway 35 serving up delicious Latin breakfast (El Salvadorian themed). I had the beef fajita omelet and it did not disappoint. 2 kids had pancake plates and my wife had breakfast tacos.

3 /5 Madelyn Carter: Monterrey Cafe is an okay little place. The food was is just alright nothing special, but their the salsa had a nice flavor to it. I enjoyed what I ordered, but the portions were on the smaller side and I left still feeling a bit hungry. The service wasn’t very friendly either which was a little disappointing. It’s an okay spot if you’re nearby but I probably wouldn’t make a special trip.
