4 /5 Kitty: We couldn’t pass up the self proclaimed “world’s best barbecue”, since we’ve eaten barbecue all across Texas, USA and the world.
The brisket and ribs were good home-style cooking. My foodie partner enjoyed the macaroni and said the potato salad tasted store-bought. The sauce was on the thin and sweet side — more like something you’d stir into sweet tea than mop on ribs.
We visited on a Sunday afternoon just before closing time, and the staff seemed eager for the day to end.
Pro-tip - large cups do not fit in truck cupholders.
Also, prices are subject to change without warning.
There’s heart in what they’re doing, though, and with a few tweaks, it could really shine.
