5 /5 Erick G: We went to celebrate a birthday at Luna Rosa, we had an exceptional experience. We made reservation with a group of ten, we did use a card to hold the table which was set up upon arrival less than 5 minutes of waiting time. The service was great. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, as well as allergy awareness which we appreciated. The birthday celebration which a group sang was really enjoyable. The menu offered a variety of options that catered to all tastes for kids and adults. The dishes were delicious to freshness. The drinks were equally impressive. The cocktail selection featured a range of creative options, and non alcoholic selection for our group. Overall, Luna Rosa provided a memorable birthday celebration. The combination of exceptional service, delicious food, and refreshing drinks made for an unforgettable evening.

5 /5 Cesar Augusto: The food was great, it was my first time trying Puerto Rican food and it did not disappoint. I also had a good drink that the bartender did his thing. The music was also on point, a mix of salsa and reggaeton . We made it on time for their happy hour as well and had $3 beers , good size. Overall , I highly recommend it. The owner also stopped by our table and gave us a tour of the place , and invited us to come out for their Halloween party later at night , such a great spot and people !

5 /5 su: Absolutely loved this Puerto Rican restaurant! The atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming — every single person greeted us with a smile and made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire meal. We ordered the Paella and IAY BENDITO!, and both dishes were outstanding. The IAY BENDITO! skirt steak was perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and full of flavor — truly delicious. The Paella was one of the best I’ve had in a long time: the seafood was extremely fresh, and they were very generous with the amount of shrimp, mussels, and other seafood. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying, and it honestly made me so happy to enjoy such a well-made paella again. Between the amazing food, great atmosphere, and genuinely friendly service, this place left a fantastic impression. I would absolutely come back here every time I visit San Antonio, and I highly recommend this restaurant!

3 /5 Johnny 5: Luna Rosa has so much potential. Let me start off by saying the waiter was great. Very friendly and attentive but the amount of time to get things ordered and brought to the table is terrible. The bartender was working at a glacial pace. It was frustrating to wait almost 20 minutes for bar drinks. I was in the service industry for years and that’s just entirely too long for a not that busy of a restaurant. I would say people will get over this place quick, especially with the price of each drink. The coquito is too much for a toasting glass and what exactly took 20 minutes to get coquito and pina colada (tiny glass for the price) which are not hard drinks to make and the coquito is already made so I’m not sure what the hangup was there. Anyways, that was a sad experience. The food is not bad. I think you have to be choosey on what you order because based on the reviews , the harder dishes vary from day to day. But if you stick to easy staples, you’ll be fine with taste and quality. I ordered the La Cubanito sandwich. It was good. I would definitely give it a 8/10. Also, advertise the happy hour on the tables.
