2 /5 Steven Huron: Tried italian food for the first time here in college station for my wifes birthday dinner. We come from Fredericksburg, Boerne, and San Antonio. It was a busy night, but the staff was very friendly and we got a table relatively quickly. The restaurant was extremely loud, with lots of college/high-school age customers, as well as a live band with extra loud music. Put that aside, the food was way below average. I ordered the lasagna, but Ive had better lasagna at home (homemade). The lasagna was basically tasteless. We also ordered a sangria, which tasted like sprite mixed with kool aid (Im used to top notch sangrias like those served at Maggianos in San Antonio). Ive included a picture of the burnt toast they include for free if you request it. Ive heard good things about this restaurant, so maybe it was an off night for them. I do not plan on going back or recommending this restaurant to anyone. For $88 it was definitely not worth the ride.
