LongHorn Steakhouse - Baytown (TX)

4 /5 C Shannon: LongHorn Steakhouse was the place we chose for dinner, and I’m glad we did. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the lighting was lovely, and even though the restaurant was crowded, we were seated right away. Our server, Jasmine, was wonderful—friendly, helpful, and very attentive. She made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit and truly added to the experience with her sweet smile. For my meal, I ordered the 8 oz Renegade with steamed asparagus and crispy okra. The Renegade had amazing flavor, though it was cooked more on the rare side rather than the medium rare I requested. Aside from that, everything else was perfect—the asparagus was cooked to perfection, and the okra was delicious. My husband ordered the 12 oz Lemon Garlic Chicken with a fully loaded baked potato and a side of crispy okra. He said the chicken was great and full of flavor. Overall, our experience at LongHorn Steakhouse was very nice. The atmosphere was lovely, and Jasmine’s excellent service made our dinner even more enjoyable. I would definitely return.

5 /5 Kristopher Ferrell: The food was great and cooked to our desire. Service was outstanding, never had to wait on a refill foe my tea. Music wasnt loud, no annoying Happy Birthday songs every 5 minutes, and temperature was warm (not freezing like some restaurant). Been here twice now with both times being exceptionally well. Server brought us a ice cream for birthday with a little message and a card. Very unexpected but welcomed.

5 /5 Customer Service Expert: My girlfriend and ai celebrated our anniversary at this location. We were seated promptly and began to be served immediately. The food came out very swiftly. My highlight was our server or waitress Wendy. She’s absolutely incredible and pleasant when it comes to the customer service component of restaurants. She was very tentative, she graciously shared additional premium items on the menu that increase money to the restaurant, but she did it so seamlessly and I was very impressed. Job well done!

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a rustic Western charm that makes it a comfortable place to unwind. The service was excellent — our server was genuinely friendly, attentive, and quick to make sure everything we needed was taken care of. You can tell the staff here take pride in making guests feel comfortable.The food, however, was a bit of a letdown. While the appetizers were surprisingly good — flavorful, well-seasoned, and fresh — the main courses didn’t hold up as well. The steak was cooked to the right temperature, but it was overly salty and lacked the rich, balanced flavor you expect from a good cut. The sides were just average and didn’t really elevate the meal. Given the prices, the quality didn’t quite measure up to the cost.Overall, LongHorn Steakhouse delivers great service and an inviting atmosphere, but the food itself — especially the overly salty entrees — keeps it from being a top-tier steakhouse. It’s worth a visit for the starters and service, but not the place to go if you’re chasing a perfect steak dinner.
