Laughing Crab Cajun Seafood - Garland (TX)

3 /5 Ken Sellers: We love a good Cajun restaurant. The Laughing Crab definitely *looks* like it would qualify; inside and out, we liked the decor. But Im sorry to say that the food was pretty disappointing. The fried foods had super-heavy breading that we all agreed was Cajun in name only. As a point of procedure, waiters should mention it if a side you order will cost extra, and not have a surprise at the end when you learn that your onion rings (instead of fries) cost $2 more. Also, it would be great if the waiter would check back in occasionally to see if anyones drink needs refilling.

1 /5 Mike: Absolutely the worst experience of my life! Went here order the clams, crawfish, lobster, scallops, and crab legs. The crawfish were so small it was ridiculous but thats not the worst part. The clams were bad as in spoiled or old. They didnt taste bad but not even ten minutes after leaving the restaurant I got food poisoning. Very very bad food poisoning! Do not eat here and if for some reason you do. Under no circumstances should you ever eat the clams you will be either throwing up or living on the toilet for a while!

1 /5 Arnashabryant2003: 0/10 the sauce is so oily and watery the one location in Dallas have thick sauce and it taste so much better , found hair in my food !! The crab legs had a funny taste the bar was closed ?? The waitress barely speak enough English. this was my second time at this location and my last time going . Everyone should be wearing hair nets ! The sauce need to be more thick please reach out to a different location to learn how to thicken the sauce .

2 /5 Brian Mills: We had a great day of shopping at the Firewheel Town Center and stopped for lunch at Laughing Crab. We ordered the crawfish and shrimp boil lunch. The seasoning and flavor were great, and the food came out quickly, but unfortunately the shrimp was overcooked and very chewy. When we mentioned the issue to the manager, he apologized and said they had a new cook and told us there was nothing he could do. I offered to pay for the crawfish portion and asked if he could remove the shrimp from the bill, but he declined and said he couldn’t replace the shrimp either. Overall, it wasn’t a good experience, and the lack of customer service was disappointing given how easy it would have been to make things right.
