Chilangos Tacos - Garland (TX)

3 /5 Haidi Espinoza: I wanted to try this place out because I heard it was good, I had ordered the QUESObirria tacos and I was so disappointed in what I had seen. There was literally no cheese in these tacos. I had went up to the older lady at the counter and said I ordered it with cheese and said “no there’s cheese on it” where? But I’m not about to stand there and argue with someone that’s older than me so I just walked away and tried to eat them. I’m so disappointed I should’ve just ordered the regular tacos de birria. Even the tacos they had so much fat in them it’s not worth it to come back here. I came for my break and was so irritated I wasted my time and lunch. The place is nice and I love the building but the food is not it.

5 /5 Charlie Dawes: Ashley made us feel very welcome and took great care of us 10 out of 10 stars for service restaurant was clean. Food was phenomenal. I’m a taco snob and this place did not miss come check them out.

5 /5 N C.: Was craving some tacos and found this spot. We got the asada tacos, Barbacoa tacos, pastor tacos, and birria tacos. Food was great and my favorite was the pastor. The barbacoa had a good mixture of meat and fat and was very flavorful. Wish the pastor meat was a bit more charred. Overall, it was a great place.

5 /5 Karla Zarate: Best place for our taco date days! The hubs and I love their tacos…. We order carne asada and pastor. All the meat is tender and delicious. Food is always hot and served fresh to order. The salsas are each different and so good! We also order quesabirria tacos and elote. We are never disappointed. I was feeling a little sassy today and ordered a mangorita (or “Chingorita” as they call it here) and it’s also great. The place has a nice vibe with good music and we’ve never had a long wait on food. The tables are my favorite… nostalgic… reminds me of eating at a street taco spot in Mexico.
