La Cantera Restaurant - Pleasanton (TX)

1 /5 Cindy: The restaurant food was very bland. Our waitress was rude from the start. She seemed very dismissive as if she didn’t even want us there. I get it’s a small town and you’re not used to strangers but it’s no reason to be rude to people passing through. Especially when we were respectful. Then to make it worse while I was eating my food I basically bit into a rock! There was something on my enchilada plate that was so hard I have no idea what it was. It grossed me out so bad I stopped eating. We absolutely did not leave a tip. I’m not going to leave a tip for bad food and bad service. Very disappointing and would not recommend. I have added the photo of the “rock”.

5 /5 Nicole Morris: Drive-thru for breakfast. Place is obviously very popular. I got 2 tacos. Carne guisada was really good, I do however, prefer small pieces of meat. The other taco was just a generic breakfast taco. Bacon was crispy, beans could have used some salt, but overall good. I would go back.

4 /5 Christina Turner: This place is good, cheap and the staff is attentive and friendly. This was our 1st time. The Mexican plate comes with 3 enchiladas instead of 2 like every other restaurant. AND it was only $9.99. They do get busy, and thats always a good sign. The breakfast taco was huge. Everything from the taco to the rice and beans was really good. Too bad they are about 45 min from my house. Next time Im in Pleasanton, I will be going again.

5 /5 Captain Spaulding: This is our go to Mexican restaurant in Pleasanton TX. The mexican plate with 3 enchiladas, 1 taco, rice and beans is great. My wife loves the Huevos Rancheros. We also love the combination fajitas as well with steak, chicken and shrimp. Ask for the Hibanaro hot sauce, it has a nice kick to it.

5 /5 Reuben Alvear: In the past few years Ive eaten here several times. La Cantera has delicious food, tasty margaritas and excellent service. Every waitress that Ive interacted with has been smiling, welcoming and behaving as though they genuinely want to serve you.
