La Bahia Restaurant - Goliad (TX)

1 /5 Marisa Jaramillo: If I could rate this place a zero I definitely would. We went here today after a football game they weren’t too busy, but waited atleast 15 mins to be seated, while seating others that came in after us. Also waited a good almost two hrs for our food, they brought out two plates and didn’t come back with the rest. When they saw us getting up they came out with the food, which I told them to just box up to go. The food they brought out was tasteless, hot sauce was watery and the queso was just runny nacho cheese. I will never go here again and do not recommend. I should’ve saved my $100

5 /5 Lisa Morris: I had the Chicken & beef fajita Chalupa Compuestas it was amazing and delicious. The food at this restaurant is excellent. Our waitress was wonderful, Haley gave fabulous customer service she was helpful and kind.

1 /5 Odilia Gonzalez: *Long wait time. Took care of everyone else before us. Take out orders were done first too. 2 simple shrimp tostadas@ $15.99 plus tax took 10 minutes to be seated 45 minutes for our small order.

1 /5 Kelli St: Worst dining experience of my adult life and first time EVER that I have left NO TIP. We ended up at La Bahia because the place we intended on stopping at is closed on Sundays, as our the majority of places to eat there. The waitress was okay when we first got there but service was beyond atrocious. We ordered queso and guac and were given two small salad bowls of chips and when we asked for a refill of the small bowls- apparently she had an issue with it?? Last time I checked- chips came with those items and for 5 people two small salad bowls are not enough. Not sure what the problem was but after our food came (we all ordered something else off menu) our waitress never came back and refused to acknowledge us. Check out at the counter was also an issue- ALL the ladies there need a lesson in customer service and I suspect because we were not "regulars" was a factor in our treatment- which is ridiculous. Only positive thing I can say about our visit is the salsa was decent. My advice to those in Goliad, Texas on any given Sunday is to find Whataburger- STAT.

3 /5 Ari Adler: Decent small restaurant with a friendly albeit overwhelmed staff. We went on a night when they had three large parties (2 with reserved tables, 1 walk in) so it may not be a fair observation about staffing. Our service was slow but the wait for the food wasnt bad. It actually arrived quicker than we expected given how busy they were. We had multiple servers due to how busy they were and yet no one really checked on us. Food was good overall but a bit bland. The place is nothing fancy but its clean. I think the owners and staff try hard to serve a good meal in a friendly atmosphere. We may stop in again to see how things are on a more normal night. We know that big parties with a huge run of tables can really throw things off in a restaurant. Prices werent bad overall so thats a nice thing to see, especially lately.
