5 /5 Marsha Russell: The location alone is reason enough to come here, perched above the spot where the springs lake falls down to begin the river below. Majestic pecan and cypress trees offer shade and the sound of the flowing water just plain makes everything better.
And the restaurant itself is the same terrific establishment Kerbey Lane is known for. Bright and cheery inside, it offers tables with river views and booths inside or you can set out on the deck right by the falls.
I’ve always loved the pancakes, so I ordered blueberry ones with 2 eggs and bacon, a perfect late lunch. Delicious. With the range of menu offerings, I could come here daily and not get bored.
There is a full bar and I loved the choices of craft beer on tap.
