3 /5 Arcenis Rojas: I stopped in for brunch this morning and had the Texas Brisket Hash Stefs Way (includes sides of 2 flower tortillas and avocado [paste]).
The staff were really nice and the atmosphere was comfortable. I even liked the music they were playing. When I looked at the menu, the first thing that I noticed is that their drinks were all alcoholic. This isnt that crazy, though, because this place is primarily a bar. I ordered off-menu and got some orange juice, though.
I found the brisket hash to be a little bland and light on brisket. Other than that, it was ok. My big problem was with the avocado [PASTE]. First of all, themenu says "avocado" not "avocado paste" or even "guacamole." This would have been fine, though, except that it tasted like it came out of a tin can that had been sitting in the freezer for a while and they just thawed it in the microwave. The tomato paste they use at that very large sub sandwich chain we all know is better than this paste was.
Finleys might be a good bar in the evening and maybe one day Ill find out and edit my review, but Im highly unlikely to return for brunch or even dinner.
