5 /5 Rick Chandler: The restaurant consists of two connected rooms...a massive bar, some seating and two small, well worn, pool tables in one room and a hodge podge of tables and chairs in the other. The look they were going for is hard to pin down...sophisticated shabby eclectic low brow maybe? There were several patrons there but only one kitchen staff and one wait staff so we didnt expect much. We were thoroughly surprised though. The appetizer, chips and salsa, came out almost immediately and were delicious! Our burgers came soon after and they too were top notch. Not exactly what I expected from the "smash burger" description, but excellent nonetheless. Our (and the only) waitress was amazing. Even with a large group and a few other diners, nobody was neglected.

5 /5 Kelly Hass: The place is cool and laid back. We had onion rings that were perfectly seasoned thin and crispy. I had rolled brisket tacos that came with chips, salsa and bean dip. My friend had chicken street corn tacos that had chips, salsa and bean dip also. Everything was tasty and would recommend.

3 /5 B N “Breakaway”: Had high hopes for this place but it didnt quite make me or my husband want to revisit. The food was okay but nothing to talk over and over about. It being a Friday evening we expected it would have a little more life in the restaurant but we were the only ones besides the staff sitting around at the bar and a couple kids running around in and out of the kitchen and dining area. No dining music in the background just a rather large industrial fan blowing fan sounds and no cool air in return. Very hot and stuffy atmosphere. The waitress came by a few times but wasnt very welcoming. Almost as if we were an inconvenience to her since nothing was going on in this place. So sad, but we are hopeful they get better as time passes. Maybe one day we will give 84 another try.
