5 /5 Aubry Sorensen: Had to share how sweet our server was. Our son has nonverbal autism and we had never taken him to a nice restaurant. Oscar was over the top understanding and helpful. He did everything to make sure he was taken care of and made little accommodations to help him. The food is good, but the server was really above and beyond. We appreciate his kindness and care!

5 /5 Nodeland Brooke: We are here for the first time this past weekend. Carter was our server and was wonderful! He talked us through the menu and made excellent recommendations for every course! The crab stuffed mushrooms were cheesy, full of crab, and perfectly cooked, our only complaint was that they’re weren’t enough of them at only 4 pieces. We each had the double nickel salad which was fresh and dressings were tasty. We also both ordered the steak au poivre, steaks were cooked as requested medium rare, a good size at 14 oz each and the creamed corn was a standout. The bananas foster for dessert because who doesn’t want their dessert to be lit on fire! Overall a great experience! We won’t have many reasons to be in Lubbock again in the near future but Dpubel Nickel will be top of the list for when we are in town!

5 /5 Brooke Rapp: My family and I went for my birthday. It was so perfect. The ambience was so nice. Fantastic martinis. Amazing steaks! We also loved the bananas foster! It is one of the best restaurants in Lubbock.

5 /5 Jennifer Beene: 1st time dinning at DK and it was fantastic! On recommendation to try the lobster bisque, fantastic. The NY strip for two was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Love the potatoes and corn sides. Our waiter made our experience even better. The bananas foster with an espresso martini is a must.

3 /5 Ann Boles: We came for my son’s graduation. They advise on the menu to order medium well or better, told us it would still be pink in the middle. When it arrived, this $55 steak was grey inside and thinner than a steak from Outback. Service was sloooooooow too. On the plus side, the manager apologized, but it really wasn’t the graduation dinner we were envisioning. My daughter’s salmon was great, my filet was also good. I really wanted this to be an extra special night for our last night in Lubbock. I booked these reservations six months ago.
