1 /5 Edna Ortiz: My mom and I left before ordering breakfast due to poor service. Our server seemed not in the right headspace, which I understand if she was busy but it was a slow morning with it being New Year’s Day. However, when she brought our drinks, she spilled coffee all over the table, walked away without acknowledging it and later returned to clean it without any true apologetic tone.
I’m a former server and always lead with kindness and patience, but we chose to leave rather than start the year with an uncomfortable experience.
