5 /5 Rouseau Panicker: Went to City Post for Sunday brunch. First thing’s first - Parking is difficult depending on when you choose to go there. Be prepared to get there early and hunt for parking. I parked on Myrtle rd few blocks from the restaurant. Second, on Sunday it closes by 2pm, so be prepared to reserve and get there early.
The restaurant is set in a gorgeous building and they have maintained the history of the place. The food is great, I loved it. I had the eggs Benedict with tenderloin and the eggs were just perfect. Paired with roasted potatoes, I had my fill of carbs for the day. The cocktails were the highlight - in transit and Georgetown sunrise - I’d recommend both :)
Topped off the meal with Affogato and that was the icing on the cake for such a great meal. It’s a bit towards the pricey end but enjoyed the atmosphere and the food.
The service was great as well. Overall nice place to go for lunch!
