4 /5 JESSE Travels: Chris’s Kitchen, located near Borger in Fritch, Texas, is a great little spot for a hearty meal with a hometown feel. The restaurant is well-loved by locals for its comfort food and welcoming atmosphere, and it’s easy to see why it has a solid reputation in the area.
During my visit, I found that the service was a little slow, but the staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was well-prepared and flavorful, making it a great place to grab a bite. One thing to note is that the restaurant does allow smoking, and the smell of cigarettes was noticeable throughout. However, they do have a separate seating area for non-smokers, which I appreciated.
Another plus is that they usually have daily specials, adding variety to the menu and making it easy to try something different each visit. If you’re looking for a casual dining experience with good, home-style cooking, Chris’s Kitchen is a solid choice.
