4 /5 Jeff Brack: Thr food and drinks were great. The atmosphere was awesome. Not what I was expecting, as I was a first timer here. Unfortunately our server was not very good. After 20 minutes we finally received our drinks from the bar. It was another 10 minutes before our appetizer arrived. After eating and enjoying the food and karaoke I asked for the check and after 10 minutes, I had to track him down and ask about my check. The place was not very busy, so his excuses about being busy was a joke. Others came in, sat down, had a drink and dinner before our meal even arrived. This was due to a single waiter, not the restaurant itself.

5 /5 Alisa Ebadat: We had our work Christmas party here on a Friday night and it was so much fun. They had karaoke and it just made the night so much better. We were able eat delicious food, play our Christmas games and then sing. We will definitely have our parties here from now on. I just hope they make more parking. That my only complaint. When its a busy night, its hard to find parking

I’ll certainly be returning soon. We love this place! The place is perfect we love going for dinner and drinks, and its kid friendly which is a plus they have a beautiful outdoor area for the kids to have fun while we relax and have some drinks! And the staff is simply amazing specially Bertha she is so welcoming and kind we just met and already love her! Now, onto the food. Every dish we ordered was nothing short of exceptional. The drinks also deserve a special mention they have a variety of cocktails and theyre all so good. Cant recommend this place enough! Its definitely our favorite place to go when we need a good meal or to just unwind!

5 /5 Chase Salazar: Stopped into Chapala for dinner on a weeknight and it absolutely delivered. The place has that warm, lively energy you want in a Mexican restaurant—busy but not chaotic, clean, and clearly run by people who care. Service: Fast, friendly, and on top of everything. Our server checked in at the right times, refilled drinks without asking, and had solid recommendations. What we ordered: • Chips + salsa to start — chips were fresh and warm, salsa had real flavor (not watery). • Carne asada plate — steak was tender, seasoned well, and the sides were legit. • Chicken fajitas — sizzling hot, generous portions, and the tortillas were soft and fresh. • Margarita on the rocks — balanced, not overly sweet, and actually tasted like a real margarita. Everything tasted fresh, portions were more than fair, and the food came out hot and consistent. You can tell it’s a local favorite for a reason. Pro tips: • Go hungry — portions are generous. • If you like spice, ask for their hotter salsa. • Great for date night or a group dinner. I’ll definitely be back. If you’re looking for a reliable, really satisfying Mexican meal, Chapala is it.

3 /5 Meaghan Parker: Food was great! Waitress was very nice. Some of our food came significantly later than all other food. Waitress was kind enough to place in to go boxes. Will probably return, and hopefully, all kitchen issues.
