1 /5 Mar Cam: Been going to Carrabas in Beaumont for 20+ years. Even proposed to my wife there. By far the WORST experience at what I would consider a higher end restaurant. Service was terrible. Food was thrown together. And both me and wife have a waiter/waitress background so it takes a lot for us to really frown on.
We asked if it was possible to get a side of noodles with a light sauce. Maybe a little butter and some lemon. Was told no problem. Got the side dish and it was drenched in their lemon butter sauce. If your a chef you would know how strong your sauces are, why would you drench the noodles.
We asked for a side of spinach as well. That dish never came. Out waitress picked up our check before we even put a card in. Was quick to check us out but not once checked on us after we received our food. She also would have noticed the spinach never came out. When I told her to remove that on the check, I got a "oh ok." Nothing more.
My wife was empty on wine her entire meal and drank water that was randomly dropped off from another waiter.
My (2) old fashions were made completely different. Different on everything including ice. How? Its an old fashion....
Our dishes were piled up from the bread and the appetizer and empty glasses. Never picked up the entire meal.....
Seriously TERRIBLE!! better service at Dennys. And that is why your lucky to get the 10% tip which could have been far more. Wont be back.
