5 /5 Kenneth Hampton: Bebo’s BBQ: A Top-Notch Experience
Bebo’s delivers exceptional value and quality. My family and I enjoyed outstanding service and a memorable meal at a great price. While the menu isn’t extensive, it features unique twists that elevate the experience.
Meats:
The brisket boasts rich flavor with a subtle smoky note. The German sausage and jalapeño-cheese sausage were highlights, with tender casings and perfectly balanced blends. The smoked chicken, served in halves, is the STAR-HANDS DOWN THE BEST, I’ve ever had. Juicy, flavorful, with smoky skin, it’s a must-try and a cook-off contender. (Note: Ribs are only available on Fridays, so I didn’t try them.)
Sides:
The jalapeño cream corn was a delightful twist, bursting with flavor. The beans were well-cooked with a robust taste. The German-style potato salad with sauerkraut was decent but could be improved by switching to a creamy, American-style mayo-based version.
Desserts:
The homemade buttermilk cream pie and pecan pie were delicious and satisfying.
Extras:
The pimento cheese, with chives and a mystery vegetable, was a standout. I took some home and suggested Bebo’s offer it as an appetizer with crackers.
Final Thoughts
Bebo’s is highly recommended for its quality and value. Check their hours before visiting. This spot is a gem for BBQ lovers!
